I’m extremely picky when it comes to vets as I almost lost my boy Walden to IBD back in 2020. I tried a couple vets once we moved here from the states, but Yamanto was the winner. The vets are extremely knowledgeable, friendly staff, and they’re always quick to get us in! ❤️

Told me over the phone both cats can be consulted for the price of 1.
The vet recognised it would’ve been the new receptionist who made the mistake of stating so but still charges me double, even though they barely looked at the cats (felt ribs, and body and that was it, not even butt, weight or heartbeat). I wouldn’t have even brought 1 of them if I knew as I only had concerns for 1 but figured I’d get both checked since it was no extra cost (I even stated this). No apologies or anything.
Got given a quote for cats tooth removal as vet stated it was broken (after I specifically requested a no h check since general didn’t look).
Quote $500 inclusive of everything, I was specific when checking with vet as I wasn’t worki and needed t save to exact amount. Vet reassured me and saved it on my file.
I drop cat off for tooth removal, hours later get a call asking me which tooth is broken/where is it…. I asked “is there multiple teeth broken?” The vet replies no just the 1 that they can see, so I ask why they’re checking with me, they said they wanted to be sure… what??????
Later get cats tooth done and was charged $580, I point out the quote was less and ask what costed more, they couldn’t answer me and reduced it by $50.
To top it off, second visit I ask them to check the microchips and they state no information is coming up and it’s likely because I’ve moved states and handed me some forms to send away. I call up one of the national databases who say the vet receptionist was wrong and it is viewable regardless of state as it’s a national database and they obviously didn’t search correctly.

I recently moved to the area about 2 years ago and have been coming here for my dog’s vet care. I have been seen by Dr Dani everytime and she has been amazing with explaining everything so that I can understand but also her compassion towards my dog i could not fault. Could not recommend her enough!

My family have been clients of Yamanto vet for almost 20years and have always been happy with Dr Tim. However Tum is on holiday and recently we experienced the most shocking case of neglect and misconduct, this is a warning to all.
Our dag hs a serious immune diease and our pet was placed in Yamantos care a few days. I picked our dog up over the weekend to found hideous injuries all over our dogs eyes, face and neck. Which would have been terrifying and painful, traumatic for our dog. I asked what happened and they brushed me of and began throwing all sorts of accusations at me that had nothing to do with our dogs injuries. Dr Dani and Anna in particular failed grossly to handle the matter professionally and compassionately. They showed no remorse for our pet who was traumatized and grossly injurd whilst in their care. This matter has be handed over to authorities and we will be holding Dr Dani and Anna the vet nurse responsible and we will take it as far as possible to get justice for the abuse. The fact we were treated so poorly has forced us to take this further.

Vet staff are usually very good but after the receptionist denied care and proceeded to lecture my wife, telling her to go elsewhere, after our puppy suffered an unprovoked dog bite I would not recommend under any circumstances. It seems that someone else in the reviews encountered this issue as well. Disappointed and disgusted that a Veterinary would refuse to even see an injured puppy.
Edit: after my wife left in tears, we took our pup to Ripley Vet Surgery who were amazing. Our puppy required immediate surgery on a crushed skull injury.
