Went in with an emergency with my dog as he swelled up really bad and couldn’t open his eyes and was struggling to breathe, was told to go elsewhere cause they where to busy…absolutely disgusted with their reaction and will never recommend a vet that turns away animal emergencies!

It’s not hard to tell if comments are written by the business or if they get someone else to write them. I took my dog there for a swollen joint he said he didn’t know what was wrong with it I asked if it was infected and if he would use antibiotics only to get a rude response he said in a loud rude manner, he said you must have access to drugs and want to treat him yourself, $75 bucks for nothing, My dog went home limping after she tried to pick him up and put him on the table to examine but failed the basics of how to pick a dog up she hurt his leg by holding on to him as he hit the floor.

Lovedale Weddings
We phoned this vet as we found a bird that was not well on our property, and they were so helpful and told us to bring her straight in free of charge. We arrived there and spoke with Alisha (who we previously spoke with on the phone) She was so helpful and caring towards the wild bird. This just shows the love they have for all animals. Would highly recommend. The staff are just beautiful and have a passion on helping every animal.

After utilising another vet in Cessnock who would make your pets stay in a hot car for over an hour before seeing your pet without you allowed in the room. Then spend five minutes with your pet and give medications and diagnosis. With thousands of dollars in vet bills.This poor service killed one of my dogs BJ with their rush and incompetance as vets. I searched for a new vet for my 15 year old Bruny boy. I am so greatful I did. Not only did the other vet in Cessnock kill my dog BJ with their five minute service giving wrong medciations, getting a second opinion has proven to be the best thing i have done, the other vet i used in Cessnock is making my surviving dog Bruny also sick with medications that he does not need. Anither misdiagnosis Thank you so so much west cessnock vets for taking such good care with my Bruny and taking your time to go over him properly spending almost an hour with him. I am really greatful to have found you. I wish I went to you sooner as my other dog would still be alive if I did.

The people there are lovely, but they also look after your animals. Most vets will want the money, But this vet likes to help there animals. They don’t cost much and they look after your dog’s, birds, cats ect.

Great as always, helpful when trying to get pets through the door, taking sensible precautions in regards to the pandemic, staff are very friendly and the vet is always willing to answer additional questions, always seems to know the answer. Good off road parking available is the cherry on top.

Personally, at the very least, I expect sympathy and professionalism from medical practitioners, whether they treat people or our beloved pets. This vet lacks both. Whilst there is appeal to visit here for the cheaper rates, my brief visit into this clinic, prompted me to go elsewhere.
