Dr Hootan has a gentle, magical touch with animals. My furbabies are so calm in his care and for this reason I would not go anywhere else. I can’t recommend Dr Hootan and all the staff at Mitcham Pet Hospital highly enough.

I recently moved to the area and was nervous taking my 13.5 year old dog to a new vet, considering how comfortable we both are with our old vet. However, I am pleased to report that Dr. Hootan was wonderful, knowledgeable and professional. Also very happy that my search for a new vet hit the jackpot on the first try!

We took our 2yo daughter for her regular checkup and vaccination. What a friendly pet hospital and staff. Dr Hootan educated us re better care and diet for Onyx, specifically potential dental health risk we are exposing her with current diet. He gave us a new diet and instruction to replace it. I am also happy with the cost that turned up less than my expectation 😎.

We took our 14 week old Labrador for her second injection. The staff were very knowledgeable in what/how we should feed our puppy & that gave us tremendous peace of mind. The puppy seemed to enjoy herself too.

Wonderful vets! Very professional and compassionate. My gorgeous elderly cat, Asharak, got very sick and passed away recently. The care and sensitivity Emily, Helen and others at Mitcham Vets showed Asharak in his last days was exemplary. It?s always a hard time watching a beloved fur baby sicken and the vets all helped make him (and us) as comfortable as possible. In his last hour we got time to cuddle Ashy and say goodbye. Thank you so much for making this heart breaking process a gentle and caring experience. All the vets even hand wrote and signed a sympathy card for us which was extremely touching. If we adopt another fur child in the future I?ll definitely be going back. Highly recommended!
