Extremely unprofessional. Fish tanks were a disgrace as were the bird cages and state of the birds. Ghost knife and elephant nose in the same tank, if they knew anything about what they were selling they would know these fish use electrical sonar to get around and hunt. Having these fish in the same tank causes the sonar to be cancelled out therefore weakened immune system. Discus in the tank looked extremely skinny and in poor condition. I can see why this shop has the poor reviews it does. Elephant nose also use there nose to forage for food and the big sharp gravel chips they had in there don’t do them any favours.
Helpful ReviewAsked the guy there why they were in the same tank… “just the way it is” was his response. I informed him about the sonar and blatantly ignored/dismissed it.
Will never go again in my life. African cichlid’s in with American cichlids was also something I wasn’t happy with. African’s prefer a ph of 8-8.5 with lake tanganyikan species reaching a ph of 9. American’s do better in a ph of 7.2-7.6.
Do some research on what you sell.

That lady was one of the rudest & the most stuck up person I have ever come across, talk about judging a book by the cover. Try smile lady and treat everyone the same, it goes a long way. She made me feel unwelcome as hell. Ask that lady a question and you’ll get a sigh, then if your lucky an eye roll along with being made to feel like an inconvenience, in a shop! Weak form.
