Dr Dorothy has performed 2 surgeries on my dog. One was on a lump another veterinarian dismissed as a bee sting. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend this clinic.

Unknown to us our dog was prescribed antidepressants for a topical skin condition. After observing her deterioration we found out what the pills were and stopped giving them to her. We have left numerous unanswered phone messages to try and find out why she was given these and why we weren’t told what they were. Very disappointing after years of bringing our dog here and trusting in their skill and professionalism. We just wanted to know why.

This is the best Veterinary in Cairns. I can highly recommend them as I have been going there for the last 20 years. They do all their on diagnostic work themselves, so your not waiting for test results.. They also do stem cell treatment for arthritis in animals. They are just brilliant, helpful and so knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed..

Friendly service. But had a 430 appointment an didnt get out until 6pm 2 dogs for vaccinations and they were running late but I will be going back there each year as I’m happy with process and also customer service

Today I had an appointment with Dr Dorothy McLauchlin for multiple issues. Before I came in, the receptionist gave me a first aid idea from the kitchen cupboard til our appointment. Dr Dorothy addressed all of the issues in one visit, and explained the causes of the problems and options for treatment. I felt listened to. The staff seem like they really love animals. I have Never been to a vet and paid less than $200 til today. Will return.

Thank you for all your help with my Doggie Ziggy last week. You were all so gentle , kind and compassionate when we needed it . It was such a terrible time for us but your were all so wonderful. Thank you again. Even though Ziggy is in heaven now at least he isn’t in pain anymore .
