I cannot overstate how fantastic this team, and Dr Gelderman are! Everyone is wonderful to deal with, incredibly compassionate and friendly. Dr Gelderman is very thorough and reassuring, and not pushy at all when it comes to treatment; there’s always a few options. I am so incredibly grateful to have a team that genuinely loves animals and will provide them with the absolute best care they can!

The team at Highlands Veterinary Hospital are the best! My dog recently had issues and Leanne called me twice a day in the days after my appointment to see how things were going, giving me great advice each time. My dog is now doing great thanks to the help I received!

My partner and I, along with our dog named Pedro just recently moved to the Highlands. We were searching for a new vet, in which the process of attending the vet is usually a stressful one, let alone having to find a new one, as our beloved Pedro is unfortunately not the most sociable to strangers, let alone a vet.
From the moment I called reception to enquire about their services, particularly their understanding around nervous dogs, it was a fantastic experience. Not only was reception so understanding and took their time to talk with me over the phone about their ‘sensory garden’ but even their check-in after the consult.
The experience with the vet himself was the most caring, kind and understanding consult we have ever had. The vet made sure to give Pedro his space while respecting the importance to build trust with him. Not to mention the amazing time that was given to myself and my partner to thoroughly explain medication and prevention of illness. Pedro was able to stay in the consult room the whole time and was at ease.
I could not highly recommend this vet enough. The moment we walked away from the vet we had complete trust and a sense of relief. The trip to the vet will no longer be a stressful one for myself, my partner and most importantly Pedro.

Our puppy wicket has been there for a few visits. I fine the staff are very friendly and the vet doctor is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Not my usual vet as Iv been looking for one but I recently took a blue tongue lizard here that has been hanging around my backyard for some time. Unfortunately one of the dogs I adopted recently had found the lizard amongst the outdoor play equipment & it ended up in his mouth with some injuries. Naturally I panicked & put bluey in a box to take to the vet, & I’m so glad I went here. They were just great, explained it wasn’t life threatening, that they’d do what was needed then once bluey was ok, it’d be released back to nature. So very happy with the service here. I actually wish I took photos of bluey
