Never take your dog to the Bunker Hill location, they do an awful job, unwelcoming staff, took them 5 hours to bath our dogs, they had an appointment at 9:00 and 9:30 am and we picked them up 5 hours later, 5 hours for a bath!!!!! with an appointment set up, why appointments then???, they cut the ears in one of our dogs when we never asked for it, the response was they did not know what happened!!!, awful place, never coming back to this location

We took our dog for grooming, bath and a hair cut. He looked like they didn’t give him a bath, he didn’t smell good, the haircut was not neat. Terrible experience for $70.

I brought my dog in for an express grooming on a Saturday and I received a call after less than an hour and a half. She wasn’t bathed and hadn’t been groomed! A woman named Kaitlyn did it. I paid 198$ for it. I would never trust my animal there! I was so upset that I didn’t even say anything due to my dog being completely confused and I wasn’t clear enough to communicate. Hideous and frightening experience. She felt a little damp and the “groomer” said she must’ve spilled her water in the cage! A friend said she appeared to have been sprayed with water to make it look like she had been groomed. Her feet were still dirty. Awful experience. Steer clear of this place.

I have owned Standard Poodles for many years. I rely upon groomers because grooming is DEFINITELY not my Forte.
Having lived in several locations, I have known a significant number of groomers over the years.
Sindy is the Master Groomer at the Petsmart located at Bunker Hill/Katy Freeway.
Due to Sindy’s remarkable expertise, public relations skills, and ability to relate to dogs with a wide range of different temperaments, (including dogs adverse to being groomed), Sindy has recently been promoted to Manager of the Bunker Hill Petsmart Grooming Salon.
A Very Wise Decision by Petsmart!
Prior to Sindy, my Standard Poodle, (who does Dog Therapy Volunteer Work at nursing homes), experienced a Grooming Disaster with a different groomer.
I thought the only way my Standard Poodle could become presentable would be for my dog’s hair to grow out so that he could be groomed correctly. (NOTE: Poodles have hair – not fur.)
Then I heard about Sindy and took my Standard Poodle to her in the hope that with Sindy’s assistance it would not be necessary for my dog to temporarily “retire” from giving TLC to elderly nursing home residents.
Sindy performed a veritable “Miracle”.
Against All Odds, now my Standard Poodle looks STUNNING! I would be proud to take him anywhere in public.
So I give Sindy my Highest Recommendation.
I am certain her proficiency would be the same with any breed (or mixed breed) dog.
If Sindy‘s schedule is full and it is necessary for you to use a different Petsmart groomer, now that Sindy is Manager and no doubt carefully supervises the other groomers, I believe you will still be pleased with your experience at the Bunker Hill Petsmart Grooming Salon.

Poor handling of pets and being careless . Not capable of doing the job and try to charge you extra for special Handling of bigger dogs is their new trick. They book the appointment and they surprise you with a special handling fee.
