I’ve been taking my two Pomeranians to Precious Pets for years and was originally very happy with the service but since new management, I’ve become disappointed of what was once a great business. The last 4 times I have taken my girls , I have asked for them to be TRIMMED, LIGHTLY. Instead I receive my dogs shaved. One of my girls has a double coat and should not be shaved as it damages the hair. I took my dogs last Friday for a trim and came back to find they had shaved my dogs WITHOUT my permission. I specifically instruct them to not trim my dog’s tail as I like the length and fluffiness but I do allow them to thin it if necessary. My dogs are not neglected and never have knots in their hair, I keep their coats healthy and brushed. It seems they aren’t bothered to brush the dogs hair so they just cut it off. Everytime I have picked my dogs up after they’ve been groomed, they’ve cried the whole afternoon, shaked uncontrollably and overall had a change in behaviour. I paid $140 for both of my dogs to be washed and shaved, Although that is NOT what I asked for or wanted. They have bumped up the prices to $70 per dog. I paid $140 for a service that was done incorrectly. I’m never taking my dogs here again as they have proved time and time again that they do not listen to your requests and don’t take their time while grooming your pups. If you want to find a groomers that genuinely care for your dogs wellbeing, I would HEAVILY suggest you find another groomer.

Helpful ReviewI have on records the length we use on your dogs, which is our second longest groom- that you have requested each visit. At no stage have you let us known you were unhappy with the quality of work.
We never shave without permission, if any situation arises we contact owners prior to any grooming changes for approval.
Our current pricing has remained the same for the last 12 months and is competitively lower than other groomers.
We take pride in all our work and listen to our customers to ensure the correct/ professional services are produced.

Terrible cut and they had our dog for almost 5hours. Also dirty inside. We have since heard another dog was shaved without their owners’ permission and another became very ill while there and ended up in hospital. Would not recommend.
