First Review
From horses, cats, goats to dogs… we’ve had all our pets treated by John and the team. They have been incredible. Treatment, surgeries, euthanasia… they’ve done it all and try to do their absolute best for the animals every time. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Having been to multiple vets over time, I can’t speak highly enough of John and his team. Like most vets, they are dedicated professionals, however saying this, Avonsleigh go the extra mile and them some to offer a practicle, kind and caring service which in my opinion is second to none.

Fiona and the Avonsleigh Vet Clinic Team are all outstanding.
Helpful ReviewThe care that we received right up until our dog’s final moments – was incredible. We had been told by another local Vet that nothing could be done to save our dog and that we should put her to sleep then & there. After contacting Avonsleigh, they suggested and ran further tests and prescribed new medication to give us precious more weeks to be able to spend with our very much loved furry family member. We then felt like all options had been explored and that along with the Avonsleigh team, we had tried everything we could. We spent the last few weeks laying in the sunshine and making beautiful memories with our dog. Time that we will forever remember and treasure. We can’t thank Fiona enough for all the care, compassion & understanding that she showed our family during an incredibly tough time. We’ll be forever grateful. Thank you guys x

Couldn’t fault our experience here today. They were so loving with every animal I saw them with, the staff beyond friendly. I love a hour away and seriously considering making this vet our regular for our loved fur babies.

Best vets in the hills. We wouldnt take our dogs anywhere else. Nice to find a vet practice that is all about the animal’s welfare rather than the $$ (Mount Dandenong vet are theives). Thanks to John and the Team for taking great care of our fur babies.

Please please please opt to see John before making any decisions to put you fur baby down. We almost made that decision due to one of the younger ladies there being so negative and careless about his care, once the “D” day came, John was in and had a different view and positive attitude about doing surgery, that’s what we did and our fur baby is doing very well. I hope no one has lost their pet due to this ill advise and attitude from her. Always gone there and never otherwise had issues. Thank you John.

John and team are fantastic. John performed, and saw my beautiful Aussie through serious hip surgery. He now walks and plays like a pup. The team look after my show cats and always go the extra mile no matter how serious or minor the problem. Would recommend John and his team to anyone. I drive 35 kilometres to get there and would travel double that if I had to.

Awesome vets and staff. Spent over &1000 with another vet on tests for our dog without a diagnosis and vet wanting to do more tests. John spent 15 minutes with us and gave him medication. We are now 3 months down the track with extremely diminished problems with our dog. Jodie is also a magnificent groomer. Knows her doggie clients well and treats them all as if we’re her own. Couldn’t be happier

John told us our dog had cancer and to put him down if we saw signs of pain. He called back that night and said “on second thought, you need to put him down immediately”. We decided to have one last weekend together before putting him down and after we saw no signs of pain we got a second opinion. 6 months later, no cancer, no pain, happy dog. This guy is too old for the job and needs to step down.

Could not be more thankful with the service we received from Tiffany and other staff. They took our dog, when she needed surgery on a public holiday we were turned away from our usual vet the day before. I will always bring our pets here from now on and will always speak of such high regard of Avonsleigh Vet
