We found our session with Dom extremely helpful and in the time we spent with her we covered so much. Her insight into canine behaviour, and her her advice has been extremely useful. In the week since her visit our puppy has come along in leaps and bounds (literally).

Dom is amazing, such a great trainer, really helped us with our puppy, with toilet training inside an apartment and helping us teach her not to jump on people. When we were overwhelmed with our puppy she really helped us out. Would recommend her to everyone.

Can not recommend Dom enough! We had a one on one session for our 14 week old Kelpie x Border Collie and she was amazing! So knowledgeable, she guided us in so many areas from understanding behaviour, diet, mind stimulation and showing us the best techniques for training at home. After the session she also provided thorough documentation so we can continue training and understanding our puppy. We loved her approach with our puppy and with us. Awesome trainer!

Domineque is excellent – in particular the care and time she takes to understand our canine family member and how our lives work gave us confidence that her suggestions and insights would work.

Dom was excellent in our session, and really helped me get on top of the reactiveness and resource guarding my 12 month old lock-down Jackapoo was starting to show. Dom’s approach has really helped Bronte grow in confidence and become so much more relaxed in her environment. It’s so great that ultimately Bronte is a happier dog, the bonus of which is a reduction in anti social behaviours

First appointment was excellent. Dom is clear, shares her analysis and some of the steps for future training, and all advice involves reinforcement and least restrictive options. I loved being able to observe then practice.
Our dog can be reactive especially with people coming into our home, and we now feel like we have a plan and the safety of a specialist for any adaptations needed.
We’re looking forward to our next session, and Scout is delighted with the practice 😊

Dom was fantastic. She provided us with ample knowledge and resources in relation to our dog and worked with us as a family unit to help us better understand our dogs wants and needs. She truly listened to our queries and observations of our dog which allowed her to create specific training tools for our dog in our home setting/environment. Dom was always very punctual. Dom was fantastic with our two girls. We were concerned about several things, including some aggressive behaviour from our Frenchie to our Cavoodle. She came and spent time with them, showing us some great ways to prevent this, get them working together and creating a positive environment for them both. She also recommended some superb tips for food and ways to keep them occupied/give treats.
She’s lovely, so easy to talk to and our pets loved her! Highly highly recommend for any dog training.

I could not recommend The Dog Brigade enough. This is not the first time we have used The Dog Brigade and each time we are just amazed with the results and progress. We’ve just recently moved apartments, and with the pandemic over the past two years our Dachshund has not seen visitors in our home, to add to this his grandmother has just come to visit from overseas whom he has not seen for 7 years. He was confused and terrified in which he was barking snapping at her, it was stressful for all of us and we had to section of the house so he could be separated. The Dog Brigade came to our rescue, Dom worked with our dog to understand what was triggering him and gave us the tools we needed to fix the situation. A week later, he wags his tail when he sees his grandmother, loves to sit next to her and get belly rubs from, we don’t need to separate them and he more than happy to be left alone with her while we go out. We’ve also done the reactive dog training course with them about 4/5 years ago, this was invaluable as we learnt to read our dogs body language and work with him rather than encouraging him into situations he is not comfortable with, the amount of trust and the bond this course alone has created between us is just gold.

We cannot recommend Dom enough. We have a 4 y/o English Staffy, Frankie, who shows signs of separation anxiety and is reactive towards other dogs and some people. Dom was able to review her behaviour and guide us as owners to help Frankie become more comfortable on her walks and also at home. We have learnt so much from the initial consult and we have noticed a happier, more confident dog which makes our walks more enjoyable. We are so happy with Frankie’s progress thanks to Dom’s expertise and guidance. Would recommend her to anyone looking for some help with their fur baby. Thank you, Dom!

I found our session with Dom really helpful. I wasn’t sure how my dog would go as she isn’t a pup anymore but I came away with some new strategies to avoid some of the aggressive behaviours my dog has been showing and it’s made our walks a lot less stressful. We actually went out to the park so Dom could see how our walks usually are and she was able to give us some tips on the spot. Would highly recommend

We have an 8 month old cavalier who was in desperate need of some puppy training. Dom was incredible with him in the sessions and we’ve already noticed drastic changes in his behaviour. We have a rambunctious 8 month old border collie who, along with his owners, needed advice and guidance on how to navigate the minefield that is dog adolescence. Dom has recently started helping my dog milly with aggression as we are trying to bring a new puppy into the family. She struggles with sharing toys, food and general aggression. I have seen immediate improvements with her and feeling safer leaving the two pups alone together.

My dog has become reactive with other dogs and it has made walks very stressful. After 3 sessions with Dom, she has improved so much! Dom’s feedback and tips has made me feel more confident and comfortable when walking her. She’s improving everyday and our walks have become much easier!

If it were possible to give the Dog Brigade more than 5 stars, we would. About a year ago, our dog Jasper had developed resource guarding habits which was making going to the park stressful. Dom was incredible ? she was patient and kind with Jasper (and us!). She explained every step of the process, from identifying triggers to explaining the ins and outs of positive reinforcement. Within two or three sessions, Jasper was showing far less guarding behaviours and my partner and I now had several tools ready to keep training and manage the behaviours should they pop up again. Jasper has continued to improve, and we can now go to the park stress-free. More recently, we got in touch with Dom about some other questions ? she was incredibly helpful and generous with her time. It is great to know that we have someone in our corner who cares about Jasper as much as we do and wants to make sure he stays happy and healthy. Dom is amazing ? we really cannot recommend the Dog Brigade and Dom highly enough!
