The prices here are fine but the quality of most of the fish is quite bad. If you want to get a decent quality koi, you will have to spend quite some time searching. However, if you are new to keeping koi and don’t really care about colour and body quality then AKF would be a good place to start. If you want some high quality koi, it is a good idea to contact some local koi breeders via groups like the Australian Koi Association or the Koi Society of Australia, as well as through Facebook groups such as Sydney Koi Traders and Koi Owners Australia.

Great place to take the kids to get some Koi. Big selection of various coloured koi with prices ranging from $3 for the smallest fish and up to $2000 for the largest.
The fella working was very helpful, patient and informative.

Absolutely disgraceful this place! I am an inexperienced Koi owner as i was buying my first Koi at this place and they sold me a very diseased fish! I had asked the guy if there was something wrong with it and he told me and i quote ” nothing is wrong with it, its just part of the colouring, its very unique”, since then we have brought more and the disease has spread onto majority of our other fish! DO NOT RECOMMEND !!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
