These guys are amazing. Our dog had surgery there and they were fantastic. Explained everything before and after her operation and their care for her was excellent. Highly recommend them.

If you love your pet DO NOT take them here!!! For someone who does not usually read or leave reviews I certainly have learnt that lesson the hard way today!
Having to take my beloved cat to the vets today I was feeling desperate so settled for the first vet with appointments ( Blair St Vets). The moment I walked in to the veterinarian a tall , slender greying man with an American accent ( unable to tell you the name as he didn’t introduce himself) I knew I should have walked out. He was rude, arrogant and picked my cat up by his head and was very rough with him. He had a disgusting manner towards myself and my cat and I absolutely shudder with the thought of what he does to animals without their owners present.
The brief consultation continued to which he haphazardly concluded it was ring worm. He was almost tut tutting me and was extremely rude and contributing to my stress about it. He then told me the only way it could be treated properly is to sedate him and shave him as he has long fur. He made it seem he would do this for us but then without any rational reason changed his mind and sent us on our way with a shampoo and tablets. Which amounted to a whopping $250!
In total shock by his appalling treatment of myself and my cat I confronted the receptionist with the way in which I had been treated. Only to be told “the nurse was in there and said there was no mis treatment” ( the nurse was in there for a few seconds… after paying, I walked out of there shaking and I felt completely miserable I ever took my cat there. Worst experience I have ever had of 20 years of pet ownership! Despicable Blair street vets!

If I could get them 0 starts I would. They were absolutely horrible. Everyone there was so rude and they way the veterinarian treated my kitten was horrendous. We both left traumatised, safe to say we will not be coming back. So expensive too!!

Felt like a sausage factory, in and out, no greeting pleasantries. I had to ask vet what his name was, it was John. He just injected and applied cream without asking me if I wanted it in my cat! Expensive visit for a minor problem, $184, including a dispensing fee of $18.50 which I never had to pay with other vets.

Went there last minute, as our old dog had run out of time. They fitted us in and where very compassionate and helpful. Compare this to our local vet that was unable and unwilling to fit is in. Will make this our vet no matter what nkw even if we have to drive a bit further. Thanks Blair Street team. RIP-Gizmo.

We took our treasured little girl cat who we adopted after my mum’s mother passed away and Dr John Fulton was the veterinarian performing surgery on her. He firstly pulled her out of her cage by the scruff, shaved her head and put a pin in her head and flicked it to rip her skin open instead of using a blade. He didn’t use antiseptic to clean her and he was over all very rough. She was clearly traumatised by the experience and I strongly endorse asking for a different vet to see your animal.
