Dr Rob, Casey (Avian Nurse) and Tailai (Avian Behaviourist) were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Dr Rob is a world renowned Budgie specialist and is very knowledgeable and explanatory about the process we needed to go through to get our little one back to full health. Yes, there is an expense on treatment and medication but in the long run you will be rewarded with a very happy healthy family member 🐥
We see it as if you pay for quality care you will receive quality care. We couldn’t ask for anything but! Thank you Carlingford Animal Hospital from the bottom of my heart!

Dr Marshall and his team are an amazing Avian vet hospital. At our first appointment they explained everything, had us talk to their bird trainer and took amazing care of our cockatiel when she was sick. They listened to our concerns and were always patient with the many questions I had. Highly recommend them as a specialist bird vet.

Dreadful – I took a sick wild Cockatoo to the clinic following a WIRES request and having notified the Clinic The female who met me at the door was rude, surly and totally disinterested. I gave her the WIRES reference number and she had no idea what it was for. The bird should have been euthanised asap if not already deceased as it was suspected of carrying ABV or PDD, both notifiable diseases. The bird was suffering terribly and well secured in a box and towel. She snatched the poor thing up and disappeared around the side of the building. A representative of WIRES called the clinic the next day to find out if any blood or tissue tests had been carried out as they would have to notify the relevant Authority if it was positive. She was told in no uncertain terms the bird was dead and then the phone was hung up on her. Very disappointing and unprofessional- I sincerely hope WIRES take this clinic off the preferred contact list.

I want to thank every single beautiful soul here who try to save my beautiful baby boy Alex, you guys helped him reach his first birthday (hatchday) which was the 23/8 but sadly he passed away tonight at 9:35pm. Dr Rob Marshall is a world renowned Avian Vet. He has been my Vet for the last 20yrs. He can diagnose and fix any health issue your bird has. He also has supplements which keep my Birds all healthy and happy!! Not sure what we and my parrots would do without him and his wonderful staff, Casey and Tas.

The supplements work in getting birds in great health and breeding. Treatment for illness can be very expensive – so you really need to weigh the cost of treatment (which may not extend life) against the cost of replacing the pet. Is $10,000 of treatment on a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo or $4,000 on a rabbit sensible?

A recent bad experience with our daughter, her dog, and a 24 hour vet made me realise how lucky we are to have such a wonderful vet. We’ve been taking our cats to Rob for over 10 years now and cannot praise him and his staff highly enough. He is sensitive to your feelings and those of your animals, and everything is discussed and explained if required. When our beautiful boy Rufus passed at nearly 20 years of age Rob sent a personal message in the mail, which was really appreciated. One of our cats Leo is very sensitive and Rob makes sure that mum is always with him if he needs any treatment.

I was there 3 weeks before and i spent more than $1100 on my bird and I bought all medicine and drop for her and I changed her diet to what they recommend and now after 3 weeks she starts to coughing again Im ripped off and I wasted my time and money there

Dr Rob Marshall was recommended to us. We have been trying for several weeks to find a solution to a challenge with our Devon Rex Cat. Dr Marshall devoted considerable time to professionally and systematically work through the symptoms to form a view on what might the root cause of the challenge so he could recommend a course of action to treat the cause not just the symptoms.
