I thought of writing a review after seeing number of customers complained about staff being rude to their dogs for acting nervous or aggressive or excessive barking. Let me tell you I got two German shepherds, one is nervous and barks, the other is straight up aggressive towards other dogs but staff always take care of them in a very friendly manner and usually put us in a “naughty” room as soon as we walk in, just me and my dogs alone. This has worked so well for us as my dogs stay calm till a vet comes and even when we exit, nurses make sure the path is clear for my dogs until they exit the clinic 😃 somewhat funny but works well.

This is one of the friendliest veterinary clinics you can visit in the hills area and they do an amazing job too with your pet.

We usually see Dr Richard Naylor, who is an absolute oracle of a doctor and can’t recommend him enough.

I would not recommend this place to penny pinchers though. You will pay a significantly higher medical bill here but similarly you will get an outstanding service. I have spent many thousands of $s with the clinic over last few years and I am happy about it as my dogs get a great result at the end of every medical procedure. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!

From reception to veterinarian to groomer!

We have a border collie who other groomers were unable to remove his knots however it was no issue for the groomer at castle hill vet hospital! The vet was also very helpful in discussing sedation opinions should they have been needed (but fortunately not after the amazing effort of the groomer!)

Affordable prices compared to others in Sydney plus a complementary neckerchief on the way out!

Will certainly be back

We moved to Castle Hill vets this year, but they had already treated one of my chickens and one of my dogs a few years ago. Dr Max was great with my younger dog, very patient and caring. The big test was bringing my highly anxious, older Border Collie. It took a while to get to grips with what he needed, as we were shifting from another vet, but I was highly impressed with the time that Dr Richard took in the second consultation, the standard of care and the thoroughness that is particularly important with a senior dog. The staff were considerate of my reactive boy. They took his anxiety into account so we went straight into the consulting room, without spending time in the potentially stressful waiting room. Dr Richard was clear about his findings on the phone later in the day and gave us a way forwards. Thank you.
