Our previous excellent vet in Sydney, the Paddington Cat Hospital recommended The Cat Clinic to us and we also couldn’t recommend them more highly. We have been impressed with the expertise of the vets and vet nurses here. We always appreciated all the follow-up phone calls and emails to ensure that all is understood and going okay. They have always gone above and beyond. An added bonus is The Cat Pad next door, we always felt that Spikey was in safe hands when we went away in the knowledge that a vet was on hand should any issues arise. Many thanks for taking such amazing care of our darling Spikey over the last 4 years. And a special thank you to Dr Kathryn and Dr Richard for your compassionate care in his final days which we will never forget.

This is a clinic for VERY sick cats. Our cat had Feline Infections Peritonitis which is usually fatal. But he was being treated with a relatively new drug which has had amazing results with treating FIP. Dr Amy was very gentle with our cat. And we are hoping for positive healing results. Unfortunately our beautiful cat passed away at only 8 months old.
Helpful ReviewAs is usual with cats; they act as if nothing is wrong, (hiding their hurt), until it is sometimes too late to save them. In this case he was too far gone. The Vets did everything they could, but he did not respond to the trreatment. Because he was in a lot of pain, we had to put him to sleep so he could be at peace.

Dr Amy and her team at The Cat Clinic are incredible. They have so much knowledge and understand of felines which you don’t often see at regular vet clinics. They do absolutely everything they can to help your loved felines and you can see their love for cats in all that they do. If you have a sick kitty, bring them straight here!!

During his 15 years of life and unconditional love, Mateo couldn’t be trusted in better hands with his health than yours.
It was the best decision ever, to drive Mateo to his regular appointments each year with the best and most caring vet in the world!!
It is almost impossible to explain how much we can love our pet, but we do. Being by his side on his last breath has been the most painful act of love I ever imagined, Mateo was my fur baby. Thank you for your act of kindness by accompanying my grief with beautiful flowers that have touched my soul in a compassionate way.

Have been taking my two Scottish shorthairs here for the last couple of years after one of my cats was diagnosed with Periodontal disease. I wanted the best care for my cats and stumbled upon this clinic and can say they are the best vets I have been to. Dr Richard is super helpful and informative. He will always give you an answer for whatever questions you may have and I feel confident my cats are in good hands. We have tried several different vets locally but have decided it is well worth the drive to make the trek over from Maribrynong to have our cats be in the care of one of the best!

I was apprehensive choosing a vet clinic for my newly adopted cats first check-up. However, all my fears were put to bed by the team at the cat clinic who were so helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure visiting with the vet, who answered all my queries with really helpful tips and advice for caring for my cat. There was no rushed feeling and he was so thorough in asking questions and showing real care for her. You can tell the whole team are passionate about their work!
We were even sent home with dental treats! I cant imagine ever going to a different vet clinic after such a positive experience.

Dr Kathryn is a star! A master of her craft. Admittedly I can be a bit of an anxious man at the best of times however Dr Kathryn’s obvious expertise, thorough investigation and calming nature was very comforting. I completely trusted her in looking after my George. It is so apparent to me that Dr Kathryn is truly passionate about what she does and this is reflected in her outstanding work. I cannot rate Dr Kathryn and the wider team at The Cat Clinic high enough, I am so appreciative and thankful for the service they provided my cat and I! If you want the best for your cat’s health needs The Cat Clinic is most definitely the place to go 🙂

This clinic needs to work on its customer service and business processes. Concerning practice of asking for credit card details over the phone – need to organise for a secure payment portal or similar if you want to mandate this, and at the least advise people in advance.

The staff and vets are so compassionate and lovely, they all love cats and understand their quirks and treat them as individuals. My poor George became very ill and they saved his life with emergency surgery for a obstruction, throughout the process they kept me updated on his progress, what they were doing, why and the costs. They even called in the days after to check on George’s condition. If you have a cat I couldn’t recommend a vet more! The surgery went well and George is rapidly recovering and becoming he’s cheeky little self again! The Cat Clinic have George for life as we owe his to their expertise and compassion!

Dr Amy and the nurse in this vet clinic are very professional. I have brought my kitty here since she was a baby. Dr amy instantly did a check up when I suspected my kitten got ear mite last time(not like another clinic said she is fine). From the first vaccine to the desex, everything went super smooth and well. It’s been just one month from her desex surgery, she heal super well and barely can see the scar(the stitching skill is sooo goood). Please help me send compliments to every staff in the cat clinic!!!! Definitely recommend and deserve a five star review!!!!

Went a while ago, professional service and they know what they are doing. There were nothing wrong with them, I went on time, and they took care of my cat. I understand that it’s a business, and ultimately the purpose of the clinic is to make money, but I have this impression of my cat to them looked like another ATM machine to pull some money out. The old vet I used to go to in Sydney, from the first visit I felt like I was leaving my cat in absolute safe hands, and the cat felt it too – it was so much calmer there. Perhaps the old vet was just special, I actually looked forward to go there with my cat, here I feel like I’m going to ‘repair’ my cat. It’s not that I’m expecting these kinds of things from here, but a honest comparison.
