Absolutely fantastic experience.
I live in Bowen, QLD, and was travelling with my 2 conures, Leo and Chewie, and since there are no avian vets up this way, thought it would be beneficial to book them in whilst passing through.
The team were professional, gentle, thorough, informative and gave my birds the best care.
It was a relief to know they are in good health and that I’m doing a good job in keeping them healthy.
I will definitely be making an annual trip to visit Brisbane Bird Vet.

I’m so extremely lucky to have sound this clinic and got a same day appointment for my cockatiel. I went with a lot of fear for my little bird and left feeling reassured and confident in her after care. Can’t recommend this doctor enough

Euthanasia is such a difficult decision for owners and we know that generally bird owners do not get the same support from friends as they would when perhaps they lost a dog or cat. We know how important these little guys can be. Dr Adrian

Our 11 year old cockatiel became ill quickly, and BBV were able to squeeze me in within 90 minutes of calling. They quickly found out the reason, and tried medication and overnight monitoring, but unfortunately she didn’t improve.
Adrian was great, and I felt like I was really involved in the decision making process, including estimated costs of different options.
We unfortunately made the decision to get her euthanized. Adrian and the team were really understanding, and I couldn’t of asked for any better treatment.
