Our cat Fifi boarded at Jazari Pet Resort in September through to November for almost 2 months. We were stuck in Melbourne relocating up to the Goldcoast and were awaiting our permit. Samantha and her staff were fantastic. Samantha really looked after Fifi and bought her some special food that Fifi likes and would send me regular text message updates to let me know how our little girl (6 year old cat) was doing. Samantha made me feel at ease that Fifi was being looked after and cared for. My partner and I highly recommend Samantha and her team at Jazari Pet Resort and are looking to book Fifi in again soon. Helpful ReviewI booked my Aussie shepherd in for a deshed and within an hour they had called me to tell me she’s finished. When I came to pick her up she was still wet, she had knots behind her ears, sleep still in her eyes, they apparently scissor finished her which looks like they just butchered her with scissors. Her undercoat on her back of the legs was still incredibly thick and lots of hair coming out, they did not trim her nails or tidy up her paw pads.
When I said she was still wet, they tried to say it was the cologne but unless they soaked her undercoat in Cologne she was still wet from the bath. They then tried to say that she did not like the blow dryer, and that some dogs bite. When I asked if she tried to Byatt they could not give me an answer. She has never tried to bite in the last groomer I took her to, they said she was perfect for them to groom.
The owner (of jazari) was full of excuses to why she still had knots and was still wet, NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!
I paid $150 for a job I could have done at home!
I will be continuing with my old groomer without a doubt. The pricing is only $80 and she comes back completely dry, beautifully groomed and trimmed very professionally.

I used to enjoy taking my dog here, but these days not so much, as they are now cash only and it has to be up front, and they try to charge you for more days then what you have booked. Not super keen on using it these days but it still seems a little better in its care of the dogs then others, so would still use if I was in a pinch

Very unhappy with Grooming received.
Helpful ReviewPet was shaved so short, after agreeing on 2 inches to be left. Shave was very uneven, it looked like a 2 year old hacked at it with scissors.
Was not washed, wash not brushed after clip, paws were not tidied up, nails not clipped, pads were not shaved.
For $100 an agreed grooming we are very unhappy. A grooming is not just a shave.

This was the first time that we have ever put our staffy’s into a kennel & Melissa was fantastic. She let us look at the kennels first. Had photos posted & they were enjoying themselves. When we picked them up, Melissa remembered us. The dogs were cleaned & well looked after. Great prices also. Thanks from Col & Deb & Zeus & Zara.

Helpful ReviewWe had our little 6 month old kitten stay here when we went away and we were very unhappy with every aspect of the service provided by Jazari Pet ‘Resort’. The first negative thing that happened was when the woman who owns the place greeted us in a very unhappy manner as we came to drop off our cat toward the end of the drop off window. She was very unpleasant to deal with. It only got worse when we asked if we could see where he would be staying/sleeping/living for the next week and she outright refused to show us and said that she didn’t have to. Through the door in the office, we could see lots of very small metal cages. We did not have any other choice but to leave our cat in their hands as we were on a schedule (otherwise there is no way I would have left him at this place). Before leaving, I confirmed with the woman if it would be okay to pick our cat up a couple of days early (and not be charged for the days he didn’t actually stay) if we happened to get back and she said yes if it was within their pick up hours.
I called up the ‘resort’ three days before his boarding was supposed to end and let the woman know that we would be picking him up the next day (two days early) and she said okay. We went in to pick him up and she VERY rudely greeted us by saying ‘your cat has fleas and I had to treat him so that’ll be an extra charge for you’. We know that he didn’t not have fleas as we treated him the day before we dropped him off at the ‘resort’ and two weeks prior to that. She then proceeded to tell us that she would not return the money for the two days that he did not end up staying. So we had to pay for the full proposed stay and also flea treatment that was unnecessary. She scammed us.
To make matters drastically worse, the woman brought out our kitten who was howling and meowing more loudly than he ever has. He is a loving vocal kitten but has never ever bowled and cried in the way that he was. He was very upset and traumatised. I’m worried about how he was treated for the week and what the living conditions honestly were. He clung to me the whole drive home, it took a while to settle him. When we arrived home I checked over him to make sure nothing was wrong with him and when I checked his paw pads I noticed that they were quite scratched up and raw looking. He did not seem to be in any pain from them but it was NOT normal. It looked very wrong.
I do not trust this boarding facility at all and I would never recommend for anyone to leave their loved pet there. I am very disappointed and disgusted at the way that we were treated and scammed and also the way that our kitten was clearly treated.
Do not go to Jazari Pet ‘Resort’ if you love your animal.

I have used Samantha & her team on and off over the last 7 years to look after both my cat & dog. Now that my dog is over 12 years old and has a range of health issues, Sam is always on hand to help reassure that he is well taken care of. He always comes home happy & freshly washed. My two beagles and I love Samantha. They didn’t want to come home when I picked them up from a 2 week stay. A big, spacious, clean and cosy room for them and they came home clean and fluffy. Really happy and Karen runs a great puppy preschool!

Could not have been happier. I have 3 neurotic cats who have never flown or spent time in cat care. Naturally I was worried about their mental well-being. When I arrived to take them home, they didn’t even bother to walk over and say ‘hello’ to me. They had settled in that well! Upon meeting the owner, I could tell she treated all the animals like they were her own.
Helpful ReviewNothing was too much to ask. She went above and beyond our expectations of care. One of our cats, a Bengal, is vey vocal (read whines a lot). She was so worried about his complaints, she took him to her local vet to get checked over. Nothing was wrong with him of course. The fact she cared enough about our baby to take him to the doctor went above what we expected. We are so grateful to Jazari Pet Resort for making our fur babies feel so at home, during such a stressful relocation. Thank you Jazari Pet Resort.

We have always used Jazari to look after our kitty during holidays, and have now started to use them for our pup as well. She is an exuberant little beastie but they managed her well, and we have no qualms about their facilities or staff. Would definitely recommend them as a safe, clean, caring, and reliable kennel.

Our ten month old Golden Retriever, Lawson, was looked after by Samantha and her team for three weeks recently. Long time for such a young dog, and whilst he was delighted to see us, he was in better condition that when he went in. Looked and smelled great. Must be a great diet at Jazari, will ring and get the low down. Thanks Samantha and team. Will have much more confidence when our next holiday comes around.
