The vet and staff are amazing and very professional. Special mention to Dr. Brett Jones. Yesterday we had an emergency with our dog, she has infections at her uterus. We bring her to animal hospital and told us it’s an emergency case but they said the surgery will take about $5k-7k. They advice us to look for a vet clinic or hospital which they charge cheaper. I called up west Queanbeyan vet and they immediately told me to bring my dog. As we get there they star the procedure for the surgery and the next day we pick up our dog. Now she’s recovering. Thanks a lot to west Queanbeyan vet.

I can’t thank this practice enough, I am so grateful that they allowed me to bring in my very sick dog in on 1 of the 3 days between Christmas and new year. I had rung many other practices only to be told they had no appointments (most were sorry and compassionate) and some wouldn’t even consider seeing us because we weren’t a regular customer. (My regular vet was closed for the 3 days)The advice from them was to wait to 6pm and take him to the emergency vet. That was another 5 hours of him suffering and I’m not even sure he would have survived the wait.

Website states open Saturday 8.30 – 2pm. Sunday emergency only. Took my pet in Saturday and was told by appt only. I stated the website does not state by appt only. Receptionist said, well it is. Living 60klms out of town would have been great to know this. If it stated by appt only I would have called prior to attending. Won’t be back. Not compassionate

Wonderful vet practice. Been taking my cat Ron there for a few years. The reception staff and nurses are fabulous, as are the vets. Very caring and never try to upsell on unnecessary treatments or products. Sadly Ron is now old and has kidney disease and not long for this earth but the staff are so very supportive. And the practice cat in residence, Norma, is a treat. That is when you can see her. She is always busy making sure everything is going as it should.
