I bought a couple of Pilea cadierei (Aluminum plant) for my fish tank. When I discovered that the roots will rot if left in water I returned them to Petbarn with the intention of getting others. I was told by Petbarn that as it was a cutting, it has no roots and I can’t expect it to last long. The woman there then tried to tell I had mistreated the plant. I had shown her a Google printout and also its new roots. She said half the plants they had in the Aquarian were not permanent plants. I said there was no notice saying that and it was dishonest and fraud to sell a plant you know would die of rot after a few weeks, I finally got my money back. I would have taken in a copy of the Consumer Law, if I thought I was going to have any problem as the plants was clearly unsuitable for the purpose for which they was sold.

Like most neurotic pet owners I always want the impossible when dealing with issues relating my my fur baby.Devonport Pet Barn is my nirvana.The staff ?There are not words that do justice to their dedication,knowledge and helpfulness .I could spend all day trying to describe why I feel as I do and it would still not express my feelings.If I was to say I have a favourite staff member(and it is only a split second win) it would be the girl who young son keeps insects as pets(cant remember the species)
