These groomers are very unhygienic and unprofessional. My dog came back with a graze under his front leg and was shaking after we picked him up. 1 day later he is still shaking, won’t eat and isn’t his usual happy self. It was only after his groom that we did some more research on these groomers and saw the horrific video of the owner abusing a puppy. I wouldn’t be surprised if she did the same to my dog!
There seems to be very little hygiene standards here which is a huge concern with the current Parvovirus outbreak in Perth.

I’m a country gal and always had Maxxie clipped by a well known local groomer. It took me a long time to find a groomer that I trusted when I moved to Perth as Maxxie is a very nervous little pup, and suffers terrible separation anxiety. These groomers have looked after him for the past 3 years, and he always comes back happy and looking beautiful! Terrific place in my opinion!

I am a long time customer, my two dogs love going here I have never had any issues with them and they care for my dogs. I would differently recommend them and whoever wrote that this place smell and looks like a dump you a full of it. They wash, groom and take care of our pets in a very caring manner and the place is generally clean except for the dogs hair that they groom off at the time when I have been dropping my dogs off. I have been there at the end of the day to pick up my dogs also and they are always working hard cleaning the place ready for the next day.

OMG, best place I have found my girl was fidgety especially around her feet and legs, she has growths on her and is old half the time we have had to sedate her but this wonderful place said she was fine and didn’t need it. Be definitely be making this our regular place

My dog had anxiety with grooming after a few bad experiences, was told by a long-time family friend/groomer to take him here, and have had nothing but praise for them. Dog is always happy when being dropped off and picked up, and the groomers really helped him with getting through his anxiety with getting cut. $70 for a wash, dry, full-body groom and nails? Yes please.

We have two fur babies that we entrust to the owner and staff of Happy Dog Grooming every 2-3 months to groom and care for. Not once have I witnessed an unhappy dog in this salon. Lots of barking , wagging tails and smiles on each of the faces of the girls and boys freshly pampered with their bows and bow ties waiting for their owners to take them home and show them off to their friends.
Helpful ReviewThe bad publicity we have heard from a few rare occasions when they come across an unhappy, angry grumpy dog that misbehaves and has to be disciplined for biting them with a raised voice or a smack on the behind has not stopped us from returning time and time again. Because that’s just what it is, a very rare occassion.
I wish the owner and staff good fortune and would like to tell them to keep on doing the great jobs that you do and to continue to hold your heads up high.

”On Christmas eve, my pup Daisy ended up in Emergency surgery after injuries she received at the above mentioned groomers. There was a 3cm wound in the chest of my 3kg dog, with hair and debris left inside which turned her skin, muscle and blood septic. She ended up with stitches around her neck, chest & back after significant amounts of flesh had been removed, as well as muscle on her left side. She’s still recovering from the blood poisoning.
While I’m fully aware that accidents happen, it’s the neglect, ‘treatment’ and disgusting misconduct from staff during and after the incident which lead to Daisy almost dying.
Vote with your money and don’t go there, please spread the word and tell your friends, family and familiar puppers and go somewhere else – I do not wish this experience on another floof or their human.”

I have been using this service for years with 2 dogs. My first dog lived until he was 17 years old and Happy Dog groomers took such good care of him when they clipped him. He got very cranky as he aged and Happy Dog groomers were very happy to understand him and were gentle with him. They now clip my young Shiatsu and they show him the same care. I would recommend their service to anyone who loves their dog to look good.

We gave this place a second go after a not so great first impression, which was a terrible idea since it took our labradoodle a year to get over the crippling fear of being groomed that Happy Dog instilled in her. Although the actual groom was fine, she came back shaking and crying, absolutely terrified. The staff are impersonal, they seem to use excessive force and not care at all. If you care at all about your dog do not take them here.

Our dog has been shaking, yelping, slow moving and hiding under furniture since my wife picked him up from his clipping at happy dog groomers in dianella walter rd. Its been 2 days and he is still scared of us! His loving owners. I went back there the next day and asked what they did to our dog as he is now distraught and yelping when he slowly walks around.

They said they groomed him as instructed and that his condition was not their fault. I left furious and just hope my dog returns back to himself soon. Im so angry and feel there is nothing I can do but warn others not to take their dogs to this place ever.

I took my puppy to Happy Dog a few times from when he was a few months old. Everytime I took him there he did not want to enter the store and would try and climb over my shoulder to escape. He would also act very different for the remainder of the evening once home. I was a little concerned over his behaviour however the location of the shop was convenient and they always seemed to be busy.
Helpful Review 1I would phone up to book him in, drop him off at lunch time and then pick him up on my way home from work. This was the regular routine. One particular day, they refused to take him as they said his booking was for 1pm. I pointed out that I was definately not given a time and as per usual the conversation was that I would drop him off around lunch time. I glanced at my watch and it was actually 1.24pm. They refused to take him. The girl serving me stared at me as if I was from outerspace and the owner refused to come over however I could see her scowling at me and saying things angrily to the girl but I couldnt hear over all the barking, dyers etc.. so I just walked out and have never returned there.
Needless to say I have never gone back, took my boy elsewhere for a while and in the meantime a friend went to TAFE to learn how to groom dogs, showed me how to do it and my dog has never looked better!
So thank you Happy Dog Grooming for offering such bad customer service as my dog has never been happier.
I will never recommend Happy Dog Grooming.
