My friend and I went a few weeks ago for Stranger Things trivia and had a great time! We both had the parmi which was yummy and the themed cocktails were cool and delicious. We loved the vibe of the whole place and the trivia was great! Keen to come back!

Great experience here at the Chippo. Your classic pub food standards are above average! Secrets out. Prob the best steak I’ve eaten at a pub and I’ve been actively looking.
Newly renovated beer garden with a fire pit to hang when it’s chilly. Staff super friendly and the beer is cold!

– Chippo is still my favourite pub for a chill beer after work, and when the fire pit is lit it’s extra awesome. The bar staff (& managers) are awesome and so funny.
My only complaints are the beer choices (please bring back balter xpa!) and I’m still a bit sad about the decimation of the pool comp.

Went to see 2 comedy shows, Snake boy and MUSH. Shows were great, venue was good, liked the intimate theatre space. Enjoyed the food. Friendly staff.

My partner and I recently had a great meal together here – and that is an unusual thing for a neighbourhood pub because I’m coeliac! They offer a well-labelled menu; I tried the gf version of the eggplant parm which was one of the better meals out that I’ve had in ages. Depth of flavour, expertly cooked eggplant, and huge portion, and a kind member of waitstaff who triple checked with me that everything would be safe for me when they dropped it off to our table. A+.

Came back here on invitation from Chippo after a mediocre meal we had a month ago and we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered a chicken parma and my partner ordered a gluten free eggplant parma. The eggplant parma was delicious – well seasoned (had a bit of heat!), well cooked, generous, and delivered to the table with extra care to ensure that it was safe for her (she is coeliac). Apparently Chippo has hired new chefs and they really delivered. Also the waitstaff and service was great. We live in the area and can definitely see ourselves coming back here
