Stopped here recently as the first destination on a hens party wine tour for a tasting and label making session and it was fabulous. Highly recommend the label making as a fun little point of difference and the wine tasting was not only extensive (I think we tasted around 8 wines in total), but also absolutely delicious. This is a beautiful little winery and the service/overall experience was wonderful. Thank you for having us!

A nice little spot to enjoy wine tasting and cheese platter. The wines are pretty good and there is plenty of seating outdoor. The biggest draw for us was that this place was dog friendly too. Friendly service too. Recommended if you are in this region.

Nestled in the vines, Dog Ridge is a lovely little spot that feels extremely homely. They have delicious wine (especially the MCM and Old Mates) Chris is a great cellar door host.

22/08/23 we visited this nice and cosy Vineyard served by Chris who passionately provided us a guide to his and Fred’s establishment. We have been in McLaren Vale and sampled a few other wineries upon our stay here and i have to recommend everyone to visit Dogridge. I thoroughly enjoyed it everything from the introduction on how they became a Winery to how they made their wines. Definitely best value wine within the region & thank you for a birthday gift that I don’t think I’ll ever open for keepsake. We will return next year

Great winery off the beaten track. Laid back cellar door experience. Simple and tasty cheese platter and some really good wines from whites through reds and stickies. Not pretentious. Quiet little green spot on a creek line. BYO picnic or bbq too! Highly recommended.

Fantastic atmosphere combined with a simple and cozy place. Beautiful view and customer service is just phenomenal. The best part is that you can taste 6 types of wine for FREE, and I’m sure you will leave this place with a bottle 😉 They also have some nibbles (almond, pistachio, olives +) and platter including cheese, cracker, dried fruits etc. Had a wonderful time there, highly recommended.

We started our winery tour here – and we were not disappointed. After returning to the McLaren Vale after a ten-year absence it was great to find a winery that reminded us of why we love the wines from this region and how the experience use to be.

The wines here are great the Butterfingers Chardonnay is how all good oaked Chardies should be. Will be ordering from this winery whenever possible.

A great Winery to visit. We had found this at a food show a few months back. We made a special trip to check out the cellar door. Highly recommend a visit. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable regarding the wines. Even picked up a bottle or two to take home.

Great atmosphere, an excellent tasting experience with nice cheese platters. Mandy did a top job looking after our party of eight. Dog Ridge has some excellent wines at very reasonable prices. We will be back 👍
