We had a truly wonderful wine tasting. Our host was delightful, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. The wines are delicious and we have since ordered some more bottles and have had them shipped. We have already received them and enjoyed them in our own home. Highly recommend!

Recommend. A quick call confirmed a visit without a booking was possible. The cellar door setting is rustic but beautiful with lots of glass to view the surroundings. An easy relaxed tasting followed with knowledgeable explanations about source vineyards, the growing season, crushing, barrel selection and aging. Great wines, check out the awards.

Go here for sure!! Not well known like Peter Lehmann or Yalumba but really good wine and very knowledgeable staff. Gorgeous 11 year-old wine doggo to greet you and we met some lovely locals while tasting. Highly recommend. The Grenache was our pick but paying $10 to try the old vine wines was worth it too.

The staff here are so rude and disrespectful. If you can’t even be bothered to treat everyone with basic human decency, no one should waste their time or money here. I couldn’t believe how they spoke down to us just for asking to sample some wine. They could’ve just politely declined, but they chose to go out of their way to talk down to us and be insulting and rude. Who does that? There are plenty of places you can go and enjoy good wine and be treated kindly and warmly. There is no excuse for the way they spoke to us.

On a recent trip to the Barossa my wife and I were determined to visit some wineries that were still locally owned and operated, and we were absolutely delighted with our experience at Gibson wines. Hugh was pleasant and very easy to get along with and gave us so much history and knowledge on the winery. We did a detailed tasting, looked around at the beautiful surroundings and purchased a box full of wine and were on our way. It was not only a great experience but the wine was absolutely delicious as well. We will be back for sure. Thanks Hugh 👏

Best cellar door experience ever. Hugh treated us like old friends and took the time to understand our tastes and steer us in the right direction. Wines are all great with some excellent Shiraz on offer. A must to visit when in the Barossa.

What an amazing experience we had at this winery and the wines were fantastic too. Thanks to Amy and Adam for their awesome hospitality, most enjoyable! Got to meet “the dirtman” himself too. Would definitely recommend going here and is definitely dog friendly! Will return when in the area again.
