This was my first foray into specifically Vietnamese cuisine, in 69yrs and I could not be more impressed. Cory was welcoming, interested, informative and cheerful, and a wonderful host. Other staff were just the same, and then there was the food! We had the mushroom Stew with wok tossed greens following chicken wings and duck spring rolls as entree. The meal with a drink cost $61.50 a couple which reflects excellent value for money and we went away fully satisfied. Fully recommend this venue. We’ll be back.

Went here on Melb Cup day for date nite with the Mrs & have to say this is amazing quality of fresh produce & the flavors were incredible.
As you can see we had the Octopus which was amazing with the Bao Buns & Homemade springrolls 🤤🤤
If this was in Melbourne they’d be lined up round the block, giving me a real Chin Chin sort of vibe on the food.
Really quiet hidden gem at the Heads 🥇

Helpful ReviewMy only grievance was we were placed near the kitchen window, same spot as our last visit. Perhaps a heads up on booking would be good. I will learn from that and request inside main area next time. Made it through the front barriers, yes we know Covid regulations, but a friendly greeting behind the mask would have softened the entry point.

Delicious in every way. I’ve had many meals (both eat in and take away) at Hanoi Kitchen and it never disappoints. The chicken wings are next level tasty and the rice paper rolls are the biggest and juiciest you’ll ever have. Haven’t met a dish I haven’t liked from here. I literally tell everyone I know to come here when they’re down near Barwon/Ocean Grove.

The best Vietnamese food I have had in a long time. Share plates/entrees are amazing and so are the mains. You will want to order as much off the menu as you can to try a bit of everything!!
