Lovely little stop on our way to Kyneton, with $15pp wine tastings and $35 cheese platters. The winery’s atmosphere was relaxed, unpretentious and cozy. There was a bit of a long and awkward wait when we first got there, but we eventually got served and found the hosts to be friendly. We especially enjoyed the 2021 Jingella Pinot Noir and got ourselves a bottle to take home.

Delicious platters with divine wine. Reasonably priced. The 2016 Pinot was so nice I bought 3 bottles.

Lovely winery and exceptional customer service. Went here with a group of girls for a hens and we were treated kindly by everyone, despite likely being quite loud. The wine was great and the place was beautiful.

Didn’t get a chance to meet the owners, who seem lovely according to the reviews. Wine tasting is $10 a head, not redeemable on purchase of wine. I’m definitely more than happy to pay for a tasting but this hasn’t been one of my favourites. 5 tastings, with the pours amounting to less than half a glass of wine, it’s definitely not value for money, especially given you can’t redeem for a bottle at the end. Lovely deck to sit out and have your tastings at.

We stayed at the Spud Digger Hut accommodation which is on site at Hesket Estate and had an amazing weekend away. The hospitality of Elizabeth and Alex is unmatched and the bottle of estate wine on arrival was an excellent touch. Hesket Estate has a delicious range of wines but the blanc de noir would have to be our favourite! Will definitely go back and recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area

We came here by chance last minute and were completely blown away with the experience.

They were officially ’closed’ yet allowed us and another couple in for a private tasting a tour of the vineyard. What an unforgettable experience.

Alex and his lovely wife Elizabeth took their time with us and explained everything so well.
We felt so at home with them.

We loved all the wines we tasted and bought plenty!

    Definitely recommend
