Accommodation is good nestled amongst native flora including an abundance of grass trees. We are two couples travelling and the bedrooms are at each end of the chalet separated by the kitchen lounge and bathroom. The chalet lacks a washing machine but, oddly, has a clothesline. The vineyard has not produced for the last 10 years and the blurb indicates cellar door but this is not the case. That notwithstanding, a pleasant place to stay.

This is well located accommodation the effortless contact less check in is great as was not having to see any other people. The fire pit was fantastic fun for the kids. However be warned the shower is a little weird

We had a great getaway at Island Brook. The chalet’s are great, perfect for what they are and where they are located.
I would totally give 5 stars if it wasnt for a few small issues.
nobody was there to greet us when we arrived, and the office was locked. There was a dog, but didnt appear to be anyone else. After contacting the Accomodation booking site we booked with, they eventually found out that we were supposed to have been given an email with a key code. The owners/caretakers were away in Melbourne. We had no idea. Anyway, no drama, half an hour of confusion. We get into the cabin, and theres no power. Another phone call, and an hour wait for the maintenance guy to come out. He fixed the problem in 10 minutes, so not so bad. Also, the hot water system was actually unplugged from the wall which is weird, but I just plugged it back in and it worked.
As I say, if it wasnt for that, 5 stars all the way. We’ll be back for sure.

Nice comfy private chalet with lots of space to explore. The shower is a bit awkward, but still nice and hot so no bother. My one year old daughter loved exploring outside splashing in the puddles and seeing the kangaroos, birds and dog.

Great host, fantastic accommodation, great wine, convenient, central location. Chalet was clean, spacious and equipped with all the things to make our stay easy. The welcome pack was very good with top quality products from local producers.

As the school holidays were coming to an end, we stayed away from Perth for three days and two nights in a chalet in a wine estate nearly 250 kilometers away. There were only three chalets in the estate, just a short distance from Busselton, Dunsborough and The Margaret River is just 20 minutes each by car and the winery is in a great location. The owner Evan is very friendly. If you have any questions, you can call him at any time to help you solve it. He likes to drink wine. If you have the opportunity, you can come and try it. This is a very good place to relax and be very quiet. Hope you can stay longer next time~!

Best accommodation we have ever stayed in in the Margaret river region. Great big chalet (chardonnay) fully equipped and clean. Great location, fantastic staff. Great for families coz so many wild animals, but also for couples.
We loved the wine.
