Stumbled across this brewery exploring the King Valley on the weekend, and it definitely didn’t disappoint 🙌
I ordered a ginger beer expecting something overly sweet, but with an unexpected surprise it was dry, crisp and not sweet and went perfectly with a pizza 🥰 Apparently it is made on a malt base with fresh ginger and ginger root juice.
The other half enjoyed his beer tasting board 😝
Lots of vegetarian options on the menu which is really nice to see so we will definitely be back.

Such a great place with a lovely garden. But so disappointed in the ” woodfire pizza” seriously you have lost a customer. How can you call that a pizza. Burned, no cheese or tomatoes on a Magarita??? Thanks for the chef to apologise, you deserve better

King River Brewing has won me big time tried their range thru Beer Hug and was not disappointed the Fig Porter was certainly one of my favourites, great range and very well made. Worth a try and a visit to one of the beautiful areas of Victoria.

The setting is inviting.. Popped in briefly to get a glimpse of the art show, but would have LOVED to stay. Shall have to come back for a meal next time! Well done guys

Service was country friendly, seriously relaxed. Under an Easter weekend pressure, these awesome folks were flawless. But better than that… the beers are better. Great Kölsch, Pale, and IPA. Best Bratwurst I’ve had in years. Sadly, let down a bit by the bread they were served in, but that didn’t matter too much. Great pizza, lots of options. Seriously, brilliant service, great atmosphere, could’ve stayed for more chilled hours than we did. And, the guitarist just set the tone for a seriously relaxed time. Honestly, could not ask for more. These folks are awesome.

Bought a ginger beer, I was hoping Vogt ginger beer- I thought I checked the label “a spiced ginger beer” it said… ooo I thought, a spicer adaptation of the old ginger beer… but no- I didn’t read far enough …, it’s regular beer- with ginger added. Gross, I don’t like beer. One isn’t expecting hops in ginger beer, and I don’t think hops counts as spicy either.
