Friend made an order, cautious of sauces due to diet, so asked for it on the side “no problem”. Few moments later, friend asked to change the eggs “done”. Food came out, but sauce was on eggs (not on side). Before I even noticed, someone else came out to apologise and asked if she wanted it redone. She said yes, came out shortly after. Awsome service and food. Def be back.

Very cute brunch venue! Sit outside for a light breeze and go get a nice view of the waterfront. I had the Jack Sparrow which was very unique and delicious! Staff and coffee was lovely too

Food came out quickly and steak cooked to liking but I did find the dish quite salty. Didn’t eat much of it because the taste of chimichurri overpowered everything. I love my salt but it was a bit much even for my taste. Service was also quite slow. Asked to order a second drink and waitstaff said I’ll get someone to come over, waited over 10 minutes and no one came so we paid bill and left.

Had lunch in the outside area, great friendly service. The setup with the music meant even though we were next to the busy road you could barely hear the traffic. Very comfortable.

You kept our table even though we had to change the time more than once due to unforeseen circumstances and to boot you were very kind, polite and understanding about it (even though it must be incredibly irritating when customers do this). Our food came out almost immediately and it was lovely. Thank you for being so understanding and for the wonderful atmosphere and yummy brunch.

If a relaxed, edgy restaurant/cafe is what your looking for with ocean views, sun and vibe, this is your place.
The aesthetic appearance is on point, the food was well presented, well portioned and was very tasty and team were available and friendly.
There was a bit of a line when my son and I arrived for my birthday brunch, however this line shrunk quickly while Covid-19 protocols were managed.
Will definitely return on our next visit to Geelong.

Great vibe in the outdoor seating area where you can enjoy a view of the bay. Wooden board flooring meant our dog could lay down comfortably, too. Friendly staff and decent menu. Only improvement I would suggest is to have a barrier of bacon between the avocado/lettuce mix and toast in the halloumi BLAT… a bit soggy!

Apon arrival a very tanned dark haired waiter appeared at the front door and asked for our vaccination proof.He questioned my paper certificate and wanted to see it on the phone which was also shown.He still was dissatisfied but relented and we were allowd to enter.The food and drink supplied thereafter were adequate but the place lacked any ambience due to the banging front door as people entered and the very poor music which continually looped.I know the place is super popular but the Manager can change a few things for the better.

Thanks Andrew for your review! We love reading the positive ones but we also need to read the not so positive… I totally accept losing two stars to a Banging door and repetitive music … that sounds annoying and both within our control to fix. Thanks for telling us … but our guys questioning your vaccination certificate….? That’s just us obeying the rules and doing our bit to keep the community safe. We hate having to be covid Marshalls … we much prefer selling food & drinks and focussing our energy on creating a pleasant, fun ambience…we too wish for a world free of covid restrictions & loud doors…

Fantastic restaurant on the Geelong Waterfront with many dining areas. We dined outdoors and enjoyed the Cajun chicken wrap, Halloumi BLAT, and chicken Parma (very large size!). The mocktails and drinks were also great. Indoor dining area was full for lunch, so book ahead if you can. Most of the outdoor area is shaded but half of our table was in full sun and found it uncomfortable. Servers were friendly and bathrooms inside were modern and spotless.

My wife and I had a day in Leopold we stopped at Sailors Rest for a late lunch on the way home. Served by Ben and another young waitress both had exceptional customer service skills made us feel welcome and at home even though they were close to closing time for lunches we picked a great table ordered food and a beer and in less than 5 minutes food was delivered! Fantastic meal, great service, beautiful water views it was perfect definitely 10/10 and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for everything it was flawless Ben even bought me out some extra tomato sauce 👌
