Super friendly hosts, and delicious food and wine. Loved that although there were a few bus tours enjoying tastings there was still plenty of room for us to have a tasting and enjoy some lunch. Will definitely be back!

Tasty platers. Great wines. Relaxing atmosphere. Outdoor sitting clean and manicured ground. Live music is a plus, and it’s relaxing.

Wines were very nice, we brought a couple bottles and enjoyed a bottle of Sparkling Chardonnay.
Staff friendly.

Visited Ugly Duckling last Sunday while exploring Swan Valley. Absolutely loved the ambience and vibe with live music and friendly staff! The cheese platter is a must-try; also generously portioned. Ugly Duckling also offers complimentary wine tasting, making the experience a delightful one! Highly recommended and I’d definitely like to visit again the next time I’m in Perth.

The winery is easily accessible and served food and wine in this winter. There is a gelato shop within the same winery that served ice cream and coffee beverages. They offered free wine tasting, both red and white, and also premium wine at a small fee of $2. We get to sample 4 different wine for each of us and can be different for each one. The service was very good, never rushed and no pressure to buy. We find the wines delicious and bought 3, all are price reasonably under AUD30. We ordered the trio platter for 2 and the presentation is passion. The chilli jam and caramelised onion dip and Brie cheese works very well with the Turkish and flat bread. Portion is good size, 4 ⭐️. The beef and Guinness pie was pretty normal and not as good compared to the Trio of Taste. It has nice outdoor sitting and live band during our visit. It gets more crowd from 1pm. But the place is big and can take a lot of visitor. Highly recommended. Good place to chill for an afternoon.

Wonderful winery. Lovely setting and garden, a nice place to chill and relax.
Great wine tasting and food platter.
We visited back in 2018 with family and (because we enjoyed it so much) decided to return Nov ‘22 whilst we were visiting Perth.
Beautiful setting to sit and relax in the gardens. We had 4 complimentary wine tastings and paid $2 extra to taste the sparkling Chardonnay.
Chose a bottle of the Oaked Chardonnay (which was delicious) to enjoy with a Cheese Platter for 2.
Great experience. Reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Great wine and a beautiful spot, but the bathrooms are terrible. It was a 22 degree day and those portable toilets were easily 40 degrees inside and many didn’t flush properly and they weren’t clean at all. The other stand alone one near the bar had a que for days and once I finally got to use it, I felt like I was going to have heat stroke. I ended up driving to a nearby petrol station to use their facilities.

Awesome! Went there with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon and had a Trio platter along with a yummy Frozè. Friendly staff and great atmosphere 10/10 would recommend.

We booked Ugly Duckling Wines for a hens and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Joanne was so accomodating with last minute changes to our booking and made our experience easy, enjoyable and stress free. The indulgence platters were a delicious and super substantial lunch option, and the wine (as always) was fab.
