gday, im local to this vet, ive been there many times, i cant say im happy with the services recieved for my pets on all occassions, i booked my cat in late last year for something in her eye, we had a 4pm appointment, we waited in the car 50 minutes and we were advised they had an emergency and theres a 10 minute wait, try 50 mins . anyway we were seen to and the eye issue resolved , we went home. Ten days later i noticed fur on my cats lower back discoloring and the cat was itchy, yes you guessed it ringworm, i would say they didnt clean properly as they were running late, i have 3 cats indoor ,never go out of the house, i have never had ringworm before, i have had a dog and cats ,i live cleanly in a reasonaly new house, and now i have ringworm and my house is infected with it , and my other two cats are showing similiar itchy signs. i am upset and top this off i went back recentlyafter realising i cannot treat this ringworm, and was told its up to 1000 for treatment for 3 cats. i rang another vet , he told me 60dollars for the consultation and around 22/28 dollars for antifungal tablets for 1 cat.
On another occassion i had a quote for surgery from one vet there, i agreed to proceed with the surgery/teeth clean and 2 teeth removed for the cat, went in 1 week later for the surgery, i didnt know but another vet there/owner was there on the day to do the surgey, he looks at his computer and says arrg who did this quote, its wrong and starts adding this and intravenous bag and that injection the quote went up a few hundred, you dont do this to your clients, i dont entertain this behaviour, keeping in mind theres two sides to all stories, i feel ripped off
On another occassion my cat couldnt wee, yes crystals, i went there on a saturday told them the situation ,enlarged tummy leaking wee wee on the cat, they said i should rush the cat in immediatly, so i did, the vet examined the cat and said i cant help you,
we cant treat this here, so why tell me bring the cat in..
i was told to put the 3yr oldcat down.
or go to lort smith animal hospital.
we went to another vet,it cost me 3500 hundred, capped. no more to pay and i could pay it off at my leisure monthly.it took 6wks to flush the cat clear of the crystals, just letting you know the outcome.
the vet then told me pay on my way out, i explained i will pay the 100 dollars in a day or so, the vet replied no ring your daddy and ask for the money, i am disgusted, the vets know me, ive always paid, always.
there are good and bad in everything , i take the good with the bad,
however tooo many times now ive had bad experiences here and i wont ever go here again.
There is one vet there, i found him to be gentle , understanding,compassionate,clear in his diagnosis treatments and costs, true to his word, the way it should be, nothing more nothing less.
an honourable man at that. he euthanised my dog,i appreciated the way he did it , he was gentle and is a real gentleman,it made it easier for me a bit, im sure you can understand this.
its a pitty the management vet isnt of this conservative ,humble nature, just money minded,condescending, and incoherent of the clients needs and more importantly not willing to help your animal one bit unless you pay on the day even though you go there for years.
this is my experience at this vet, theres bigger and better vets around
and im sure my business will be valued elsewhere, in fact it already is.
if you have an emergency with your pet you should seek vet help, your experience may differ from my experiences , this post is my experience only , thats all i have to say, thankyou

When booking an appointment for my rabbits (knowing the sex of one of my rabbit) the guy i spoke to was very polite and nice but when I took my rabbits, the lady who took my rabbits inside was not professional in anyway and was rude. so the vet, knowing that they’re not professionals in cases of rabbits i don’t know why to even book the appointment and not tell us that they don’t treat rabbits. Big loss of money and time and I’m sure they have just kept my rabbits inside and us outside for about 20 minutes and returned them and called it a day. 👎

Best Vet in the area!
I have used them for over a year and gone to a few of their doctors. They are gentle and very knowledgeable.
The staff do not try to fleece you like some vet clinics.
