Have used Victor Vet for several years now their service is wonderful and compassionate and very kind thinking of the animal and the owner. Our Monty fell sick and I took him straight in. All the staff were straight onto it and threw everything they had to first find what was wrong then treat it after 2 days of exhausting treatment around the clock Monty passed. I could see all that were involved in helping him were saddened by his death. I wish to thank all of the staff again for their tireless work to help our Monty and I don’t hesitate in saying this is the best Veterinary Surgery in Victor Harbor.

Mick and Christine are caring and compassionate
Mick looked after our old friend “Handsome Ted” .
For the last few years Ted had 3 monthly checkups with Mick just to keep an eye on things and ensure he was as happy and healthy as could be .
Mick often refused to charge or simply billed a token amount .
Recently Teds time to leave us arrived
Mick was unavailable but Christine was able to very compassionately take care of our good friends final moments
Thankyou to all at Victa Vets
Keep up the great work
Mick also followed up four weeks later to see how we were going after our loss
No reason other than been a caring professional

Just having had our little dog being operated on at Victor Vet I would like to say what an awesome job all the staff did. Dr Mick and all the staff have been so amazing with us and our little dog. No question is too big or too small and the entire staff have calmed any anxiety we or our dog have had during this process.

Dr. Mick has created the most friendliest, compassionate clinic with all the Vets going above and beyond to help with our animals when they are not only unwell, but also with our routine check ups and vaccinations. We could not ask for a better clinic to go to where we feel like we are part of their family too.

Once a great vet, seeing Mick Was awesome at his previous vet. Happy having him as my dogs vet I followed him from his old vet to Victor Vet. Years went past, and Mick fobbed me off to another vet who I didn’t really take too nor did my dog, my dog was what I thought pretty healthy. Christine sent my dog for X-rays, then sent down to Marion for a $2400 CT scan to be told this could possibly rule out Disease, the end result was $3k on my dog to put her on antibiotics for 3 months, final results are still inconclusive. Healthy pets don’t pay the bills do they.
Helpful ReviewWhen confronted and asked why Mick had put me onto another vet in his practice, he said I had been too forward with his staff, and this had been taken as rude. My response was it certainly does not pay to be loyal and follow a half decent vet.
Being a loyal client doesn’t pay. This Vet used to be good, now he is just taken the $$$ where ever it’s easy.

First time I had been there to have our pet rainbow lorikeet looked at. Shaun and all the team were great. I will definitely be taking our lorikeet back whenever she needs a checkup or anything else. The reception staff followed up my visit with phone calls on two separate occasions to see how the lorikeet was going. Highly recommended vet clinic.
