Horrible experience at this vet. Their customer services is non existent.
People go to the vet in vulnerable situations and they have no compassion for this. I needed a family member to pay over the phone by card and they refused to accept this and said I needed to pay from my own account.
I explained that this was not a good experience to have and the response I got from reception staff was literally just the word “okay”.
On top of this they have an anthurium plant in the consulting room.. a plant which is toxic to both cats and dogs. Save your money, go elsewhere.

There was an incident with a puppy at the dog park so we called the vet and asked if the owner could send their puppy there straight away and they said yes. The puppy was attended to immediately, and we are very grateful to the staff at the vet. Thank you so much!

I just want to say a big thank you to Kate (apologies if it’s spelt differently). I called one night a few weeks ago in tears desperately seeking advice for my partner’s cat. She was very kind and warm. Listened to me being a complete mess! We’d never taken the cat there before but she didn’t mind, she put that aside to be a kind human being to someone in need. This particular vet is absolutely amazing, my dogs behaviour was a bit off, I didnt knoe what to do other then bring him in. They looked over him and didnt even charge me. He didnt need any treatment or medication, it was just something he ate that was bad. It just shows that they care about your animals and not making money.
I came in today quickly to get my dogs microchip updated and the staff were very friendly and understanding as I was asking alot of questions
I dont have one bad word to say about this place. 5 stars. Keep up the good work

After having to paying for 2 separate consultations to receive a diagnosis, I was told by keysborough veterinary clinic that my dog will never walk properly again due to a leg injury unless she underwent a $5000 procedure. Got a second opinion from a vet that was referred to me by a friend and he assured me it was a simple sprained muscle, now my girl is back to her normal self. I find it very disappointing and untrustworthy that a vet would advise for an animal to undergo a risky and costly procedure without being completely certain that it is absolutely necessary. I would advise anyone that finds themselves in a similar situation to make sure they get a second opinion. Unfortunately after many years of taking my pet and my previous pets to the keysborough veterinary clinic, I will never go there again.

Slightly expensive but worth it for the great care. Offers many services without a high pressure up sell (claw trims, FIV vaccines, chipping etc.) Was a HUGE help when I adopted my new stray kitten last year and provided me with a care package and information as well as followed up with me regarding appointments for vaccines and boosters.

Dr. Mary at Keysborough vet was fantastic! I came to Keysborough after a very costly and unpleasant experience at another vet clinic. Mary was thorough and knowledgable in her investigation of my cat identifying problems the previous vet had not addressed and ensuring quality care for my fur baby. Teyla is on the mend now and she wants to say sorry for all her cranky bites she knows now that you guys were trying to help her 😂😂 Thank you again Mary and Keysborough Vet we appreciate your attention to care.
