The best canine training venue I have ever attended. I did a 5 day course a number of years ago and I found it to be very comprehensive and suitable for dogs who have complex issues. The course provided an opportunity to train in different environments and contexts, and under distraction, which I think helped to reinforce and consolidate the training for my dog.

We took our lab to alpha dog school for around half a year. The skills that my dog was taught worked when he was wearing a halter however once it was taken off my dog acted as if he had forgotten it all. Some of the staff were really nice however they all had different ways of teaching. When I was upgraded to the next level, their was a different trainer and she told me that I was doing it all wrong even though it was another trainer who told me to do it that way, she said that I shouldn’t have been upgraded in the first place even, this made me feel really stupid, what’s ironic is that she was the one who upgraded my dog. It is also way too expensive and not worth the price, I will not be going back there!

Huge, airconditioned indoor facilities for dog training of all levels and ages from puppy onwards. Their training method, which includes a lot of praise but no treats, works effectively for dogs of any disposition. Even difficult, headstrong, nervous and reactive dogs respond really well. They offer a variety of services from board and train, doggy daycare, grooming, off lead walks as well as several different packages for owners to train their dogs. If you really love dog training Alpha even offer comprehensive courses to become professional dog trainers.

If you want a well behaved , obedient dog and having great difficulties in achieving that goal, then Alpha is your go too dog specialists. I was stunned that even after our very first class my Standard Schnauzer was listening to my commands and was showing signs of obedience. BUT , more importantly not only do they teach you how to train your dog , they train you to recognize what your doing wrong in training !! All classes are done with positive reinforcement, not food rewards and the dogs are so excited when you praise them .They are brilliant.

This is a very nice doggy daycare! All the staff seems very experienced and approachable. Sometimes they are in the dog enclosures other times taking turns at reception where they keep their own dogs during the day. There are separate areas for low, medium, and high energy dogs. Drop off and pick-up is very efficient, though there is always time to chat if you are so inclined. There is plenty of parking and opening hours are good.
