    I decided to bring my dog to Caren and I was very impressed with the experience. Mu dog Bella is 17 years old Bella and she had such a wonderful time and seemed to feel very comfortable with Caren. I was very happy with the way Caren cut her hair and Bella smelt so nice and fresh, got her teeth cleaned, nails clipped and also got a cute bandana and treats to take home with her. I also received photos before picking bella up from the appointment which I though was lovely. Great price also. Thank you for the great experience Caren, Bella and I will be back 🙂

    Took Nala in for a summer trim today as she has been suffering in this heat with her fluffy coat. Nala gets quite anxious at the groomers but Caren was very patient with her and did an amazing job. Nala enjoyed the dog biscuits too! We will be back!

    I took my bindi girl to doghouse salon and barkery for the first time today . She is a 8 month old labradoodle and was very long and wild.when I picked her up she was a new spunky girl.     I visited Doghouse Salon & Bakery recently with my Maltese/Shihtzu Fleur.

    Our little Poppy had a traumatic experience at a big “well known” grooming business so when I heard good things about Barkery, I booked poppy in here. It was definitely better! Caren listened to what I like and don’t like with our dogs hair and she implemented it. Booked to go again.

    Fantastic experience with Caren, Not only did she do a fantastic job grooming my two foster dogs but she even took a beautiful photo of them and texted it to me plus she gave them a little bag of home made dog biscuits to take home and enjoy (& the dogs love them!)

    This was our first visit to the salon.We have recently moved to the Gold Coast and we were looking for a great dog groomer that we feel comfortable leaving our little Charlie with. Caren is so lovely and I could see straight away that she really loves dogs. My little dog went straight to Caren for a pat and was really comfortable being left with her. I am so happy with my little Charlie’s hair cut and he smells absolutely delicious. Also a couple of little doggy treats for Charlie. We will definitely be taking Charlie back when he needs another spruce up. Thanks Caren.

    My dog name is Coco and she used to been Ashmore grooming but no slot to book there that time so I had been here only for nail cut. I WAS HOLDING my dog and groomer done nails in 4minute before the groomer starts other dogs but she charge me extra $10 because Coco is difficult dog. It’s my first time ever. Even she did not ask me extra during I was holding Coco and inform at dest when I pay. It’s so unprofessional way to work. I doubt if it’s difficult for her, how she deal with other dogs? It took several month to leave comment because I did want to remind of groomers unpleasant attitude and my experience while I am writing feedback.

    “Shirley” loved it! She is a Cavoodle with a thick, curly coat. Shirley arrived with loads of ‘dreadlocks’ from a doggy holiday on the beach! She was matted and sandy and it was her very first visit to Karen. It wasn’t an easy job for Karen. But Shirley now looks amazing, smells wonderful and she wasn’t distressed at all. We are VERY happy…Well done, Karen!! 5 Stars from us! You truly know your stuff. We will be back!

    Love that it is a home based salon and is cage free. I have a very nervous rescue dog and an older cranky chihuahua. Caren is so loving and caring and takes the time to calm them. Highly recommend

    While she doing pet bath and nail trimming I was waiting outside. My two dogs are unusually frequently screaming and I can herd her yelling and threatening. Almost an hour later I took them home and find out she done foot hair trimming only one dog and another dog nail trimmed 3 of of four foot And has few splits nails. Unprofessional, unhygienic and she don’t know how to treat the dogs.

      Sadly the groom session for your 2 Chihuahua dogs was a bad experience for the both of us. From the moment you stepped in my home salon they were barking uncontrollably in their cage that you bought them in. It was almost dangerous to try and groom them due to their behavioural issues. I try to put the client and dog first even though my better judgement says I should say no. At no time was I screaming at your dogs but you do have to be firm voice with them when they are behaving in such a manner. Knowing how much you adore your dogs, I do not believe that you would have allowed me to scream and threaten your dogs whilst you were just waiting outside.

      I have a large client base who specifically bring their dogs to me because of my calm and patient nature I have with them. I have many testimonies to support this.

      I adore dogs and my salon is very clean. I sanitize after each groom including my blades and scissors.

      I understand the groom may not have been up to your standard or even mine but it is the best that could be done when you have a dog twisting and pulling whilst on the table. For your next groomer I would suggest a salon where there is at least 2 groomers as it will require someone else to try and hold them. I genuinely wish you all the best.

    We took our Cavoodle (Maggie) to Caren for the first time today and we are very happy with the result. Caren is easy to talk to, and she does a fantastic job. The best part was seeing how happy our little girl was when I picked her up with her cute little bandanna!
    Highly recommend!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Caren has done such a wonderful job with my newly adopted dog. She clipped her exactly as I asked, she has a gentle and loving manner with the dogs, and my pup was so happy when I picked her up. Fresh and clean premises, I will be back for sure! Highly recommend.

    I took my cavoodle Millie today for her first time and I am very happy with the result. Caren did a wonderful groom and with Millie arriving and being a little apprehensive because she had never been there before was quite happy when I arrived to pick her up not even wanting to rush out the door.
