I wish they would stock all the varieties of Hills science diet prescription foods. Becuase our pets have to be on a restricted diet they already have limited flavor options. Also they rarely have more than one cashier working and usually a long line.

I had an appointment for 8a. I did arrive a couple minutes late. The door is shut. There is a sign that says to ring the bell if the door is shut. I rang the bell multiple times and nothing. I watched from in front of the building as an employee walks past the door and doesn’t let me in so I called to see what was going on and no answer. Finally someone pulls the door open and says she doesn’t work there but was leaving from dropping her dog off or something. So I finally get in and the young lady asks me to wait after I inform her that I’m here for my appointment. I hear her call and tell the person on the phone the groomer Margot who is supposed to groom my dog is available now and for the rest of the day. She then goes and tells the groomer I’m here and the groomer Margot doesn’t even look up the young lady comes back and tells me that they can’t take my dog because I’m 2 minutes past the cut off. I showed her my phone that I was calling before the cut off time but she just said that’s what the groomer says. I can see the groomer and the groomer Margot doesn’t look at me. Doesn’t offer any kind of reschedule. Doesn’t apologize for any inconvenience. I understand having appointment times and being prompt to appointments but the lack of communication about how to access the grooming area is the reason I was unable to make it before the cut off. Now I have to take my dog back home making me late to my next appointment. If the sign said pull the door open to access the area or if they answered my call or the buzzer I would have not been late. It’s frustrating because of the lack of communication combined the lack of understanding and courtesy

The phone systems to PetSmart stink! They are not reliable, even if you talk to someone, they aren’t at the store you thought you called. BUT, the groomers at the Fruitville Pike location were so nice. I was given 2 different times, by 2 different people, on 2 different occasions, that they stop taking walkins for dog nail trims. I told them this and even though I was technically 30 mins beyond the time, she took my puppy for me. It was his first time and he’s a bit nervous around new people, but he did great. She was very kind and did a great job. The only reason I’m not giving up less stars is because the kind person at the store made up for it.

Sent my wife in for an item listed as $28 on the website and she was charged $49. The stores have different prices then the website though they will match it if you ask apparently. I find this policy to be ridiculous as I sent my wife to pick up a heating pad and made no mention of the price because why would I? I had already looked it up. She paid twice as much then if I would have ordered it for curbside pickup.

Store employees are well knowledgeable of their products that they carry. They have a greeter, when you first walk into the store that is very friendly and so polite. It was very heartwarming to see him ask the customers how there day is going as he welcome them to the store.

Very happy that the PetsHotel accommodates non spayed dogs. I had a trip last minute with no arrangements to care for my 7 month old GSP. We have our reasons to not spay so early, however many boarders around my area do not accommodate non spayed dogs. Although PetsHotel Lancaster was an hours drive away, it was a huge relief that they were able to take my pup last minute.
They were fantastic and caring. It was my pups first time separated and she experienced some angst which caused diarrhea. The employee did a great job with keeping me informed and getting her to the emergency vet in the middle of the night.
Everything went well, my pup is home now, looking and feeling great! Thank you so much for accommodating non spayed dogs 😊

They have and sell quality products for Animals foods including Trutles and lizard foods.They have and sell Quarium for fishes,Trutles and snake.They are very friendly generous and helpful with customers services satisfaction and Appreciation for great goals and levels .Their prices on all are moderate expensive and discount.They are cleaned and organized well.They have large parking spaces available and handicap parking space too. They are on the first floor and it is big store.

If you take pride in your pets grooming, etc, don’t bother bringing them to this place. Our pup had two small matted spots (I comb her out every day) and they stated she would probably have to be shaved! One back leg with two small mats (that took me 5 minutes to take care of once I returned home). I refuse to use this place ever again.

Do-Not Bring Your Pets Here! They cannot be trusted. If you value the lives of your pets, avoid this place like the plague! The staff in the grooming salon are rude and uncaring. The store manager could care less how her employees behave. She says, I’ll have a conversation with them. Are you serious? They all need to be terminated immediately. If they worked for me, they’d be unemployed! They have No-Respect for their valued customers! It’s suppose to be a fun time shopping for our pets, not a miserable unpleasant experience. If I could give them a ZERO-STAR-REVIEW, I surely would. Have a Blessed day….

I have left my dog at the pets hotel a handful of times and I feel like he’s well taken care of here. Just recently I had a drop off time for 8pm when the lighting was awful and the power went out everywhere. I brought my dog up to petsmart (I had to leave the next morning at 7am) and they refused to take him because there was no AC! They did work with me and allowed me to drop my dog off at 6am the next morning. But you would think a store that not only sells animals, but is responsible for many peoples loved ones would have a generator!!! The Weis had their lights on. I guess food is more important? Very disappointed in this event and am considering looking elsewhere for future boarding.

I would not recommend ordering prescription food online from PetSmart. They called my vet and hung up when being put on hold for 2 minutes. My vet tried to call back and got hung up on. I called to cancel my order and they didnt even care what happened.
