We have recently found Petfocus we had been to 2 other vets in the area for our frenchies. Petfocus (Renee and the girls) our anxious girl who hates the vets was happy to walk around the consult room with her big sister. Therefore we are in the process of having our 5 frenchies all transfered across from the other vet centre. We won’t see any one again. Thankyou so much Petfocus for dropping everything to see us within 24hrs when our regular would not. I don’t even care that I have to travel from other side of the border. We will do it everytime :). Thankyou team.

We had an emergency and after trying 4 other vets including my regular one, all of which were fully booked, they fit my dog inbetween appointments even though they were fully booked themselves.
Dr Renee did a great job repairing the damage and going thoroughly over the after care and options available.

Dr. Renee & the team at Petfocus are the best vets I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only are they knowledgeable but they genuinely have a passion for the animals they care for. I have been in to see them for a multitude of different issues (some quite complex) that they’ve successfully treated. I only moved to Albury 2 years ago and in this time I’ve been to quite a number of other local vets, before I found Petfocus, who I was left disappointed with by their attitude, level of knowledge and pricing. Petfocus has the best of everything, if you’re hesitating about taking your animal here; don’t. This is the best place on the border, especially if you want a vet that’ll love your pets like you do.

Money hungry and untrustworthy.
After taking my boy there for a limp and been told he was fine it was later discovered at another vet that he had done his cruciate ligament in his back leg, A lump was discovered on his shoulder and a biopsy was needed.
On the day of our vet visit to petfocus I requested blood tests to be done I asked every week for 6 weeks the new vet requested them which they never received in time for his appointment even as I’m writing this review I still have not been sent the blood test results when I paid over $300 for them.
Facts are there was a bandage on his leg, there was NO shave mark to sterile the area or make sure the needle went in the right spot.
I called up two weeks later after the initial appointment to say he still had the limp and could they organise a vet to pop out the front to check his gait and Make sure I wasn’t seeing things I was told yes sure but for a something that would take no more then 30secs it would cost me $98 something they should have checked in the first place.
I have requested a refund for the blood test as I haven’t received any results 8 weeks later now and have had to get them redone at his new vet I have been told NO to a refund because they have been done I just don’t have the results from pet focus

We hope your dog H is okay.
Helpful ReviewComprehensive blood testing was carried out on H as agreed by you at a cost of two hundred and five dollars, and the results have been forwarded on as requested. We try and avoid clipping the fur of nervous pets to minimise their stress. We do this frequently and it works well for anxious pets.
We recommended further work up with radiographs and this was declined by you. A follow up appointment was made which you failed to attend. Our vets can’t afford the time to leave patients to see you when you decide to attend the clinic without notice.
You have phoned many times requesting a refund on a test that has been run back and results that have been discussed back in September. This doesn’t seem rational. We would appreciate if you would stop harassing our team members so that we can allocate much needed time and energy to our needy patients.

My Elderly cat was rather ill not eating and having urine accidents . I took her to a vet at Pet focus on the long weekend in June . She had bloods done and I was told she was stressed and had an irritable bladder ( items such as special food and calming mist prescribed ~$200) the consultation was over $450 total cost @around $650 She was to come back in 3 days and have a urine culture . That was done on Wednesday ( $330)results were known on Friday but I was not told the cat had a urinary tract infection. She was admitted to Townsend St Vet on Monday dehydrated , seriously ill from a urinary infection . Hospitalised with her younger sister cat that was fretting and also very dehydrated

I love Petfocus! My friends dog attacked my 12 year old dog and they brought someone in after hours to check my girl out and did emergency surgery on a Sunday for her. Very kind and loving team here! The work they did was amazing! Cant even tell anything happened! Very very pleased!!

Couldn’t recommend these vets enough. The quality of service and care is incredible and their facilities are very impressive.
You couldn’t go past Dr Renee and Dr Sasha – they’re fantastic and treat my little puppy like she’s their own.

Dr Alice is the best vet I’ve come across. She is frank and honest and will tell you what you need to know and how much it costs. I live in Canberra and drive my dog to Albury just to see Dr Alice at Pet Focus for our vet checks and vaccinations.

could not recommend this clinic enough. extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly trained and very informative. gives options of treatments (which is varied in price) to help my much loved german shepherd girl bindi. Bindi is calm and relaxed in this clinic. The staff understand she is my baby and treat her like their own. The facility is above all others in this region. you will not be disappointed.

Helpful ReviewMy boy has been very ill, and having plenty of vet visits trying to get on top of his nasty virus he was definitely testing Dr Selma & Dr Renee,
They went above and beyond to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. checked on him everyday wanting photos etc to check if he was healing ok and the medications were doing there job.
Would highly recommend to anyone!
So greatfull my boy is always in the best hands.

Thank you petfocus for the loving care you give to baby Emmy. With the problems Emmy has, the renal disease, Emmy would have passed away long ago. But the devotion to care has enabled Emmy to enjoy life once again. The disease is rare in a young cat, he is 4. His visits to the surgery for check ups is something he loves. Once again thank you.
