Have been there many times, vet nurses are always lovely and most vets are great.However my most recent visit wasn’t great, I found that the vet was quite arrogant and rude. I understand vets have it hard and that resources are stretched, I work in the pet industry, but taking it out on clients who are polite and trying there best isn’t ok.

I rang and made an appointment with a vet that was trained in dealing with birds, I was advised that the vet was so I booked an appointment to have my eclectic parrots nails
Helpful ReviewTrimmed and also her wings clipped. Well my parrots claws were bleeding continuously for 2 hours and he just got the scissors and cut all the feathers on her wings. It the vet had of said he was unable to help me with my parrot I would have waited until Ashley was available as he had treated my parrot before and was really really good.
So just want to let people know to make sure they stress what vet they want to see
Took home a parrot that had very sore and bloody claws

Our favourite Veterinary clinic! Our giant dogs love all of the nurses and Vets, they are all so kind and try and make our dogs feel comfortable and at ease. Ash (our usual vet) is wonderful, but we love them all. We adore all of the staff there and their love and dedication to the animals.

My opinion of these guys has gone down hill fast
Helpful ReviewI had 5.15 appointment I arrived and called them to say I had arrived as they are doing contactless pick of animals in car park
They did not tell me they are running behind so i sat there till 5.42 pm so I called them and they
Said I was next and will only be another 5 or so minutes I was so upset and there lack of urgency or empathy to me having sit there with a cat and Hungry kids was it !I left and will not be using these people again

Hi Matthew. Thank you for your feedback. We will discuss with our team to ensure owners are notified of any delays in our schedule when checking in for their appointment. While we understand that waiting with hungry kids can be quite challenging, please note that we are trying our best to run on schedule. We have appointments left free for urgent cases needing to be seen each day to minimise disruption. However, on the afternoon of your appointment we had several unwell pets requiring urgent care, causing the delay.

The staff on the front desk are SO RUDE. Their behaviour is abhorrent. I have been in there several times and each time i was met with discriminatory attitudes. Never have i been so consistently disappointed with a service. DO NOT recommend. Go to GAWS.
