I cant praise this vet clinic enough. I had an emergency little over a week ago, after hours. I called and the lovely Vet ,Sarah assisted me straight away. She was very compassionate and caring the way she looked after my Roxy. Unfortunately we lost our dear baby. The practice even organised the cremation of Roxy. Many thanks to Longford Veterinary practice. ❤️

I tried every vet in Launceston and surrounding areas, couldn’t get in anywhere.
Helpful ReviewThen I got suggestions of this vet. I highly recommend them.
More Louie is my world, they gave me so much reassurance they would do everything they could for him.
He still has to have operation, will write another review after that.

Exceptional Vets and Team! Recent new client with several elderly animals and their care, knowledge, advice is second to none. I’ve spoken with several Vets and support team and they have certainly made a great impression. Knowledgeable, sharing info in plain English, compassionate, supportive with pricing quite reasonable. I can’t imagine going anywhere else..I just wish I’d discovered them earlier ⭐️

Getting one star because that is as low as it will go, which is not as low as the service received. I wished I had read the negative reviews more carefully. This is a Google Review and Google will enable you to find other practices alternative to Longford and Northern Midlands Veterinary Services. Been going to this clinic the last year with my 2 senior dogs. They are friendly professional but also down to earth. (Main thing they are good with my babies and know what there doing). They will accommodate you as soon as they can.

Rude bunch of people who only care about money. They keep taking your money even if they know you can’t afford it. They will take advantage of you wherever they can. Run up charges without consulting you first. No bedside manner what so ever and show no compassion like calling and leaving a message saying they are checking on your pets welfare only for you to ring them back and have them not mention your pet once but to purely ask about payment details. After multiple negative experiences with them I sought second opinions on my pets health issues and was told that the treatment they were extending to longer than necessary was actually causing more harm than good. I nearly lost my fur baby because of these rude money hungry Scrooge’s. If you use them listen to your gut when you feel like somethings not right.

The staff here are very dedicated and compassionate. They not only have your pet’s best interest at heart they have the owner’s best interests at heart. Their prices are far more reasonable than other vets I have been to in Launceston. I am so glad I chose to go here.
