Review Summary

Here's a summary of the most recent reviews on The Pet Community
Belconnen Dog Obedience Club Inc is a community that reviewers consistently love for its warm welcome, well-run trials, and diverse training options—from obedience classes to dog sports—in roomy, user-friendly grounds. People laud Amelia and other trainers for their patience and clear guidance, and they value a pace that lets each dog learn without pressure to advance too quickly. The clubhouse and running surface get high praise, as do the friendly judges and stewards, making first-time ring experiences feel smooth and enjoyable. If you’re after a fun, supportive place to train with your dog, BDOC comes highly recommended—just be mindful of car-park speed in busy times.

I have joined the club to take my puppy to dog obedience classes and Amelia is great. The grounds are big and there is a small yard where the dogs can run around for a little while. They do a lot of dog sports that you can join.

A great clubhouse and good running surface for Canberra. Some ppl are crazy as they speed 50km/h plus in the car park area when others have their dogs in the area.

Thank you so much Belconnen. Both trials were well run, the grounds were beautiful and everyone was friendly. For a pup’s first time in the ring, it was perfect. Well done.

BDOC is a great place to complete training of your beloved pooch, trainers are patient and understand. There is no push to go from one grade to another and allow your dog to learn at a casual place suited to them.
