The staff at this store are always really helpful. I cant fault the grooming salon either. My Chihuahua has anxiety after an incident with getting his nails cut and this store always looks after him/can keep him calm. The staff at this store always make him comfortable & he never gets cranky about them doing it.

Staff are usually friendly when I had been here prior which has added an extra star. But today when my son and I visited the store for pet food, we were very disappointed with the lack of available stock, and that the stock that was available had been opened with noticeable freezer burn on the product and frosting occuring on the packaging which showed this had not be checked for some time. No staff available at the time so left and went to Morayfield Pet Stock instead.

Usually with Petbarn’s I’ve never had a problem but today the rude lady working at grooming changed that. Apparently I had an appointment booked for today which I don’t remember booking whatsoever because of the long wait times just to get an appointment at PetBarn but I received a phone call from a terribly rude woman this morning reminding me about the appointment and asking if he will be coming in, which I have work so unfortunately I can’t bring him in, but I sincerely apologised for messing her around and mid way through me speaking she hung up in my face like a grumpy child. Very upsetting especially because I work in retail so it’s an honest shock to have to deal with this when I have to deal with the other end of it most days at work. I’d suggest to find another person to interact with people/put on your phone and keep her away from customers because whoever I spoke to this morning may sound like a grown and “mature” woman but in reality I’ve never had any store no matter what the issue was – hang up in my face like this.
I also usually don’t post reviews because I don’t want to be this kind of person but honestly I’m sick of how terribly rude this world is becoming, I’ve had enough.

I was served by a lovely lady with a bird on her shoulder. I asked for some advice on flea treatments and she explained in great detail WITHOUT trying to sell me the most expensive. She also helped explain the price match guarantee and therefore saved me some money and gained a new customer for her outstanding customer service 🥰

The staff and service here are amazing. Elsie and the team care for our old blind Pomeranian x so well. They are attentive and supportive and he comes home looking (and acting) like a younger dog. He even had a Xmas portrait done last year! The staff are also helpful and knowledgeable when we need advice for other pet purchases.
