What a Jem, don’t get many shops like this that still have the owner of the store providing good old fashioned service and advice. As I’m new to fish keeping I was advised to not buy certain things I was enquiring about and not pressured to buy like some other shops. Paul was very generous and willing to share his knowledge. Worth the 30

My all time favourite fish store, been to most aquarium stores in Perth, always end up back at Morley aquariums as they have the best collection of fish, which are well looked after and always do well in my tank. Like any aquarium shop in Perth you need to visit frequently. Get to know the staff and the stock cycles. Good stock sells fast so put your name down for special orders.

This is one of those poky little speciality stores overcrowded with cool things and I spent a long time just gaping at the amazing display tanks. I was really impressed by the helpfulness and patience of the staff. I arrived during the middle of a big overdue delivery. All the staff were obviously tired at the end of the day and scurrying around frantically trying to pack away stock but they still made time to talk to me patiently and answer all my beginner questions in great detail. They obviously take customer service really seriously.

We were wanting to populate a new tank (fish, ornaments, plants etc.) after being ignored for 15 minutes, a young guy finally decided he had enough of standing behind the counter doing nothing and attended to us. We explained that we have a new tank, the size etc and what type of fish we already had.
Being new to the fish game, we were wanting advice on what type of fish will coexist with our existing fish and he just rambled off some names, vaguely pointing in the direction of some fish and then said “do your research on the type of fish you want then come back”
Ok.
Yep.
Thanks for your help…pfft.
So we left and went to Robs aquariums in Malaga and spent our $865 on some marvelous fish and very good customer service. Robs is a nicer/cleaner shop too so I know where to and where NOT to purchase fish from in the future.

Employees give extremely bad advice, sold us weak fish that sadly passed. This place needs to be shut down or needs new owners. Stop letting your fish breed in their tanks, seperate the males and females and stop selling inbred fish. It’s not only traumatic for the fish but it’s traumatic to the children that were excited for their new pets.
