The owner butchered my dog as u can see he’s bleeding everywhere when asked for a refund to help pay for some of his vet care needed she will not return the money she’s a sick individual

My Cavalier was sent here for a haircut,

The staff was very friendly, cooperative and enthusiastic which was a good sign. My dog came back like it was sent from heaven, the job was done very well and she came back energetic and happy. Would highly recommend this place around the west. The good thing is the price is reasonable for 75$ some places charge more or less but dont even get the job done. Ill be coming back here.

It was my first time here and they did a good job on my poodle. My poodle was matted and i asked for a shave and for what i asked a job well done. He was shaved well however his paws still had some pieces of long hair. It was also priced well for what i asked for and the washing service is good as my dog is smelling good and is nice and clean. Overall for my first time here the job was executed well and i am happy with what i got 🙂

Sent 3 Japanese spitz in for a groom. We specifically told the groomers not to shave our dogs.

I can understand if their belly had to be shaved but for the entire dog to be shaved is absolutely ridiculous!!

They have the excuse that the dogs were very matted which was a joke.

As far as I’m concerned the groomer went the easy way and shaved the dogs instead of taking the time and care to properly groom dogs.

There was no phone call to advise they would have to shave the entire dog. If that was the case, we would have picked them and cancelled the service.

Did not have a problem at Petbarn six months before that.

Low price = low quality service for higher maintenance dogs

Now it will be summer in 40 degree heat and my dogs will not have the proper protection from the heat or sun.

Do not recommend.

Great little place, I’ve never had anything to worry about and I think some of the negativity are people with problematic dogs and they won’t accept that. One of mine can be problematic with new people but had enjoyed every experience. Dogs aren’t perfectly behaved and owners think they are and sometimes small things happen outside of control. Been there 5 separate times each time I’ve been happy with the end result. So updating my review to say I did have a very positive experience as not many people bother to review positively in some depth, but the negatives fly up online in moments. If you’re in the area and looking to find a groomer. Give them a go 😀

Great customer service. They groomed my Alaskan Malamute, he came out so clean and smelled amazing, also recommended me to go visit a vet regarding his skin as there was a few red patches. Would definitely bring Sumo back there!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! RUDE AND PATHETIC SERVICE!!
I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOG EVER AGAIN!

I urge all pomeranian owners to never bring their poms here, the crazy lady shaved my pom even though I clearly asked for a TRIM!
When I confronted her she got aggressive, arguementative and started to make excuses, saying that he was matted (he was not as he gets brushed every second day and groomed once a month), he was being difficult and that if she didnt shave him it would have cost me extra and more time, which I would’ve been more than happy to spend and wait.

He had a full long, fluffy white majestic coat and now due to the shave he has developed Alopecia, now his skin has darkened and his coat is growing patchy and unfortunately he will never be able to grow the same coat back.

My dog was utterly traumatized and scarred after the experience!
I would give this groomer a zero star rating if possible…

Note: the situation below happened 2 years ago, but as my review has disappeared, I am writing it again. The purpose of this (repeated) review is to make pet owners aware of how this business handled a situation.

I took my dog to this groomer for at least 2 years prior to this incident. About two years ago after his usual wash and groom, my dog returned with a damaged nail. When I confronted the groomers about this, they reacted very defensively and immediately directed the blame to me. They were not understanding or professional about the situation. They simply said it was my fault and hung up on me, even though I told him he did not have the injury before the appointment. Ultimately it costed $150 to fix his nail and they refused to discuss a solution with me. I have not been back to this place since.

Was not impressed at all. Saw all the great reviews and thought wow would love to take my dog there. My little puppy was nervous to begin with. When I got him back he had a bald patch. Ontop of that they burnt his male parts severely and it swelled up. Following that the bald patch grew and caused a skin trauma and pigmentation now he can’t grow hair there. I spent $70 or so on the cut and now $300 more correcting was she/they messed up. Would never recommend this groomer to anyone. They will be hearing further from me.
Another thank you for causing my dog to be scared of anything that makes the same sound as the clipper.

Was my first time taking my little Coco here. The lady was so patient with her as she was a little bit nervous. I am so happy with her end result. Really professional. I loved that she called me to inform coco was a little bit scared of the dryer and that it would take a bit longer rather then rushing and freaking her out even more.
