A business is only as good as its rudest receptionist and unfortunately I had a horrible and uncalled for encounter with an uppity one today who seemed to pretend to be the vet and gave unsolicited rude admonishment about one of my dogs weight ( who is isnt hugely overweight BTW but is certainly big and I am already following vets advice for it!) . Anyway she seemed intent on handing out the punishment and keep going with it and frankly Im furious. It was totally uncalled for. Maybe she has forgotten she’s a receptionist and not the vet and has a role to keep clients not make them furious enough to move to another vet!
.Anyway I paid a lot of money for that lovely experience and although the vet seems fine, I wont be going back.This business should be more careful with who they hire and watch for their uppity attitudes towards customers. A bad vibe there today.

Unprofessional, unethical, do not admit to mistakes. Do not keep accurate records of animals medication. Could not recommend less. Stay away from this horrible business, there are plenty of good vets around, this is not one of them.

I love King St vets. All staff receptionist, vet nurses and vets are amazing! Not only do they treat your pets with love respect and compassion, they are also the only vets in town who take in injured and sick wildlife for assessment and treatment. True animal lovers.

I have been taking my numerous pets here for around 13 years now. They are trustworthy, compassionate and always respect the decisions I make as a pet owner, and sometimes those decisions are really hard to make. Definitely the best vet in the area.

Would just like to say a massive thank you to the staff and vets at King Street. They are so genuine, wonderful and helpful. They cared for our dog for the past 12 years who we recently lost. The team were so loving and caring throughout the whole process and very kind and compassionate at the end of a devastating time as they understand they arent just pets, they are a part of the family. Couldnt recommend any place better to get the best care for your fur babies

Just a complete ripoff like every other vet.
If there are 2 options for treatment, the vet will nearly always take the more lucrative one.
In other words, they do the same job, but a different way so they can charge you more money.

The staff at King St. Veterinary Hospital were so wonderful during the week our Briard Penny (Miss Moneypenny) was hospitalized there after going down with a paralysis tick. They called us morning and evening every day and updated her status with us and showed not only professional care but also a deep level of empathy and compassion for Penny and also for us going through a situation where we could have lost her as it was VERY serious. Thankyou all, wonderful people and a job extremely well done.

We have an old dog that is very uneasy with going to Vets for her check ups. Recently old age has taken its toll with her so we find ourselves more often in the King St Vets office. The caring nature of the staff has settled our dog and the attention and compassion showed by the staff there is a credit to this professional organization.
