Josh was absolutely wonderful with my very anxious big dog. The reception team were lovely and very helpful. 🙂
Vets trips usually end in us both stressed but this one was completely different. Josh was calm, patient, and very gentle with my baby and explained everything in detail.
So grateful to find a vet who cares. Thank you!

Late one night, I took my dog to the Nowra Vet Hospital for an emergency after-hours consultation. Little or no caring was shown towards my pet while I was there, which was deeply disappointing. On call was a young male vet who gave my dog a physical examination. I asked him twice what he thought was wrong with my pet, but did not get an answer. The vet gave him two injections of antibiotics and a strong painkiller, giving the second injection in the shoulder so hurriedly that it caused my pet further pain, and he jumped forward. I was holding him at the time, comforting him, but it caught me off guard and I stumbled backwards. The young vet thought that it was funny. I didn’t see the joke myself. The next day, after a long, sleepless night, with my dog shaking uncontrollably from fear, unable to lie down, he died in my arms. I would never use Nowra Vet Hospital again, for any reason.

Nowra Veterinary Hospital has been very supportive. We moved down here with our 20 year old cat a few years ago.
Over the last few months they have been very caring, supportive and gentle as our dear cat Angel dealt with some health issues.
Unfortunately we lost our dear Angel this week & they were very comforting & made sure she was taken care of with dignity during this difficult time.
We are grateful for their support over the last few years. We recommend their service for your fur babies as we know they will be taken care of & will receive top quality care.
