Reviewed on GoogleI was recommended this vet from the place where I adopted my cat who is a bit older at the age of 9. I have been going since December 2020 after having issues with his bladder and getting blocked which resulted us going to an emergency vet. Randolph saw us and listened to what had been happening, he said it might a Thyroid issue and ran tests. He was right and we have started the medication. My cat has greatly improved and is much more happy and healthy. All their staff are very friendly and kind people. They know how to handle cats with little stress as possible. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the very best care for their cats. They are a little bit more expensive than other vets but not by a huge amount and very much worth it.

Reviewed on GoogleBest care and best vets for your furbabies. I have complete trust in all the vets and nursing staff. The experience and care they show to all their patients (kitties and humans) is outstanding. I don’t live in the area and travel here so my furbabies receive the best medical care.

My cats have been patients and boarders with the very kind crew at Paddington Cat Hospital over 20 years plus. The vet advice and care on offer is the best; the vets are very focussed on staying current with advancing cat medicine and they are also incredibly caring, for their patients and their patients? humans. Can?t thank them, nor recommend them highly enough.

Reviewed on GoogleIt is very difficult to find ethical healthcare that places good health before financial gain. I am stunned at the level of deception the paddington cat hospital use with little regard for your cat.
On our first visit we were very pleased with our service and the thoroughness of care … the little extras the vet used like cat pheromone spray and the lovely cat photos everywhere.
After several more visits for various ailments of a geriatric cat, more and more unnecessary and invasive tests were done ($$$$).
When we questioned them, if they were all necessary we were made to feel guilty and cruel for not doing the right things.
Eventually seeking a second opinion from a different clinic – the line of treatment and what is “best” for the cat given her age etc etc was simple; less tests, more home care instructions and for a quarter of the cost.
I write this in the hope that others will be wiser and stronger than we were. It wasn’t the expense but why put the animal through unnecessary testing?
One vet even threatened bowel surgery for constipation – the second vet hospital simply gave fluids which was all that was necessary.
I can’t speak of all the vets here but the two we had were morally corrupt.

Reviewed on GoogleMy experience was being over charged and taking advantage of venerable situation. My cat had asthma from my Dr google research. I show the vet my videos of the coughing and trouble my cat was having. The vet suggested a lavarge test which is a big deal when your cats not well. After asking all the questions l went against my gut feel and did what the vet suggested believing she had my cats best interest. After all the tests she had asthma.Went home with the ventalin puff $195 and child size connector for $60. I went to another vet for a second option as my cat wasn’t getting better, and discovered all the blood tests over night stay, lavarge test costing $1200 was all not needed. And the puff l was told l could have picked up from a chemist for $35 and the connector for $30.
Helpful ReviewIt wasn’t the money but the unnecessary stress l put my cat under that really disappointed me, all for there profit.
In the end liquid ventalin was the only thing that helped her stop the coughing.
Shame on you for taking advantage of my venerable situation.
I will say one thing in there favour my cat was less stressed in an all cat vet than a mixed animal vet.

Reviewed on GoogleHands down the best cat care in Sydney! I know this as I previously worked as a nurse at this clinic. I can honestly say the care, compassion and professionalism that goes on with the clients and behind the scenes are second to none. Each cat is treated by the staff as if it was one of their own. I was lucky enough to work with the most hi-tech veterinary equipment and knowable vets (Randolph often participating in textbooks while I was there). I could not recommend them enough, and would defiantly trust them with my furry felines family members if I lived in Sydney.
