Reviewed on GoogleIf you need a break from the world this is the place for you. Secluded, beautiful, relaxing and just amazing. My wife and I stayed in Earth, having stayed in Air a few years ago. The accommodation was perfect from the champagne and local craft beers awaiting us on arrival to the freshly baked bread and the magnificent views of Mount Warning that greeted us each morning as we awoke in our warm, comfortable bed and the chorus of birds that said goodbye to the day every afternoon this was a perfect get away that allowed us to really reconnect as a couple and just spend time together. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future and I can’t wait..

Great for those looking for seclusion, quiet, privacy, comfort, and relaxation.

Reviewed on GoogleSo good! We stayed 4 nights in the water lodge and loved it. The spa bath and fire place in the open cause way with the deck opening up to the rainforest is awesome. And sleeping next to the waterfall was so good. The service, meals, care, cleanliness were all great. Thanks for having us 🙂 we’d definitely recommend this place

Reviewed on GoogleWe had a 2 night stay at the water lodge for our 20th wedding anniversary. The accommodation and grounds were amazing. Unfortunately that was all that was good.
Helpful ReviewOn the day of our anniversary the management had contractors cutting trees around our lodge. The peacefulness was bliss if you’d rather the noise of chainsaws over nature. The lodge has floor to ceiling windows in bedroom and shower for looking at the beautiful view, unfortunately also allows the contractors working no more than 20mtrs away to look straight in. We couldn’t use the the bedroom, bathroom, toilet or outdoor spa until they finished their days work. The next morning we were woken to the sound of a bobcat and truck spreading gravel on the driveway at 8.00am.
Spoke to management and they apologised and said it shouldn’t have happened but there’s nothing they can do.
The total disrespect shown to guests, especially in these times when the tourism industry is struggling, is beyond belief. It takes more than nice accomodation and grounds to run a retreat and unfortunately the management has let us down greatly. Could not recommend to anyone. Don’t waste your money.

Reviewed on GoogleTruly beautiful place to stay, genuinely remote and deep in the rainforest with all the sounds and scent of the forest. The lodges are second to none, rare quality with home made freshly baked bread and generous provisions and amenities. We will be back!

Reviewed on GoogleGreat accommodation! Three really unique lodges, in one of the most beautiful and picturesque rainforest surroundings I have ever seen. All Basics are available in the lodges, candles, firewood, salt, pepper, oil, mosquito spray, bbq… really nice! Only a small downside, which I am sure will improve in the next months: some of the facilities could need some renovations (e.g. little wooden bridges on the property).

Reviewed on GoogleRun by a only a middle-aged couple, their manager and groundskeeper, this little set of cabins nestled in the middle of temperate rainforest has given us a magical experience. The Water lodge is full of bespoke little secrets and history that were delightful and intriguing. Throw in a in-house massage and more complementary items we could have believed and we had a perfect time.

Reviewed on GoogleA Balinese Dream in Australia —- We stayed in the Water lodge earlier this month and it was pure heaven, we did not want to leave! The Balinese feel is truly stunning with lots of gorgeous little touches everywhere. The outside tub and the suspended double bed were just a few of our favourite things! I loved the split rooms with the open balcony in the middle which was perfect for a BBQ at sunset. You have all the luxuries you need here for a truly relaxing and self sufficient stay with a BBQ, full kitchen and all the mod cons but still keeping that stylish interior. A perfect escape surrounded by lush nature and mountains.
