Gorgeous cozy cottage. Has everything you need. Bath, bedroom, kitchen, fireplace, beautiful secluded front deck and lawn. The owners are really attentive and easy to deal with. Love this place we’ll be back. 🐶

Amazing place to stay for a weekend away!
    Absolute peace and quiet.

Has Daylesford lake at the end of the road and the amazing mill markets across the road!

This is a quiet and secluded spot that is well maintained and handy to shops and lake. It is clean and made our stay in Daylesford an enjoyable time. Would definitely use again.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a cosy, country getaway. The cottage is close to main shops and lake but is set back in a rural setting and surrounded by trees, so you really feel away from it all whilst still having the convenience of being close to everything. A lot of thought and attention to detail has gone in to creating a welcoming ambience – from the supplied streaming services, books and games to the bottle of sparkling wine left chilling in the fridge for us. It would’ve been handy to know all the provisions left for guests as we could’ve avoided packing a lot of unnecessary items but its probably a changing list and so difficult to be specific about. But to give you an idea – we didn’t need to bring dog bowls or mat, gladwrap or alfoil, margarine, vegemite or peanut butter, sugar, tea, coffee, cooking oil, vinegar – there was a lot more. Looking at comparable properties in the area, Bidewell Cottage was good value for money and hosts were responsive and easy to make arrangements with – would definitely stay there again, or maybe try one of their other two cottages in the region.

House interior is small but so cosy. The house is set back from the street with its own garden which is so nice to sit in with a glass of wine. Kitchen has all the basic stuff you’ll need for a short stay. Garden is completely fenced so perfect for dogs, our boy loved chilling in the shade of the trees. Will definitely stay again.

Bidwell Cottage is located in the most beautiful location away from the centre of town, but with great access to lake walks and bush areas. It had a great atmosphere, and a clean and tidy environment, with attention to detail that made it easy to relax immediately upon arrival.
