What an amazing oasis just out of Bendigo.
Such a clean and well maintained park.
Accommodation options:
Drive through sites, concrete slab sites, grass sites, various cabins, 2 x 6 person glamping tents and 1 couples bell tent.
Amenities:
Immaculately clean bbq facilities in a number of areas, laundry, picnic tables, rec room, camp kitchen, table tennis, pool table, a dog wash and off lead area. Theres also a small kiosk at reception.
Fun stuff:
Pedal cars for hire, scooters to loan, jumping pillow, half basketball court, large zip line, pump track, climbing frame, playground with smaller flying fox/zip line and 2 slides, swing set, solar heated pool and spa
The park itself is so well maintained and tidy.
We stayed for 2 nights in a 6 person luxury glamping tent (G2) which was just amazing. Queen bed and 2 x 2 bunk beds with all linen provided (byo pool towels). This space was so clean, inviting and relaxing. It was well appointed with all the kod cons. Split system helped with the cool mornings. Our family of 4 including 2 boys (7&5) loved our stay and would definitely rebook again.
The Marong Family Hotel was great for a meal (walking distance) and a short drive to Bridgewater Bakery for amazing cakes and slices. There is a small iga at Maiden Gully for supplies – otherwise go into Bendigo for Woolies/Coles before arriving as once you get to the park, you won’t want to leave again 😊

I stayed overnight with my 2 teenagers and our dog in a dog friendly cabin. The staff were very friendly & the facilities were excellent. I found I had a flat tyre late in the afternoon, and wanted to say a big thank you to Justin, who worked overtime to help me – he changed my car tyre and put the spare on, and was so kind about it, saying it was no problem. With people like Justin around, I’m not surprised this holiday park gets rated so highly.

Was a great stay, staff are so friendly nothing was an issue or too much. Cabins were clean and tidy and modern. Pool was cold but great and not over crowded. Will definitely be back. Marong hotel is close and had amazing food.

Our pool is solar heated from September to April and reliant on the sun 🌞 However, we’re glad it was warm enough to have lots of fun! Parents tell us it’s hard to get their kids out of the pool regardless of the temperature 🤣 Great to hear you enjoyed good food at our local pub, it’s a bonus for guests to walk 5 minutes and have a night off cooking 🤩 We all look forward to welcoming you and your family back another time 🙏

Taking 3 kids, 9 and under away on a trip by yourself is nerve wracking at the best of times but we had the best time with so much for the kids to do to keep them entertained!
From climbing to the top of the rope pyramid, to the jumping pillow and hours in the swimming pool they had the best time.
Clean and tidy accomodation with enough for what you need – fridge, stove, tv, beds, shower, indoor and outdoor table. Ticked all the boxes that we required.
The staff were so lovely and we would definitely recommend.

I haven’t rated rooms as we stayed with our van. Amazing people at the park. We arrived late and after hours without a booking after a very frustrating evening – we were answered with a smile and were welcomed to the park with no qualms at all. The park is so clean, the park camp fire already burning, beautiful level drive through site and even air conditioned amenities block. Just incredible (unexpected) service fairly rare these days. We will return for a longer stay sometime I’m sure

Even though there was a camera on the pool and numerous staff walking past people were still able to take glass into the pool area. There was no use turning off the air pillow before 9am, yet again staff walking past the pool at 8 am and people were swimming. The real kicker was on one of the mornings at 730am one if the staff was out with the petrol blower. So no I would not recommend to family and friends as it wasn’t exactly a relaxing environment as we went to the marong public pool.

Honestly the best caravan park in Victoria. There are plenty of shady trees and the sites anre beautifully preserved and the maintenance of this park is superb. Even had a little herb garden for guests to pick a little to add to their dinners. It’s even better if you have children. Kids would absolutely love it here. They would definitely be entertained. Lots for them to do. Such a cute little town too. You can easily walk to the pub and the little take away shop. Will 100% be a place we will return to again and again.

We stayed the night in their deluxe cabin. The cabin was clean, smelled nice and fresh, bed was comfortable (double size for 2 people was small), linens were great and soft as were the towels. We didn’t use any of the amenities as we were just passing through. The park grounds were impeccably clean. We had our dog with us, they provide plenty of poo bag dispensers around the grounds and rubbish bins. Excellent choice to stay with or without a pet.

Had a dog friendly cabin, suited our needs very well. The Budget Cabin was great for overnight, but we would have preferred a deluxe one if our stay was longer (simply for the added space). Staff were very friendly and informative, used to off lead dog space, play space, pool, games room would have been ideal if we brought the grand kids.

Good place for a quiet night away from the main Bendigo drag. Nearby hotel provided delicious meals and excellent service. The holiday park was spacious, clean and an ideal overnight resting place. Staff were friendly and also provided great service.
