If you are after a reasonably priced getaway from the city it would be hard to go past Chestnut Glade. It has a number of separate units with couple and family accommodation. We opted for a unit with one bedroom, lounge, kitchen and an amazing indoor spa with a huge window overlooking a private japanese style garden. Luxurious essential shampoo, conditioner and handwash Ample breakfast essentials were provided including eggs, bacon, cereals, fruit juice, tea and coffee and fresh bread. The unit was themed in an oriental style and had a split system heater/ cooler and an open fireplace with timber cut to size supplied. T.V. music system. Private and with acres of open land to wonder around with chestnut trees this place cannot offer any more for a relaxing stay. Fifteen minutes from Marysville if you need to go to town.

From the moment we stepped into the Lucenti cottage, we fell in love with it! It was well presented and maintained. It has a great feel and is in a very quiet and serene surrounds. The facilities inside the cottage – from Breakfast options to the wi-fi access with streaming services it provided a great deal of comfort. We achieved our desired outcome – relax and recover. The cottage is beautifully appointed and is in the most ideal location for total relaxation. From the spotless bathroom with double spa and incredible shower to the breakfast provisions and extra comfy bed. Chestnut Glade is one of the nicest stays we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to be back.

The Lucenti cottage was amazing! Super clean,well equipped, and comfortable. The location itself was breathtaking, a cottage amongst the chestnut trees provided a lovely view to wake up to. Already looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely stunning. We stayed in the NanKing cottage. The room was amazing. So comfortable, all the extras in the room were definately noticed and appreciated. The spa luxurious!! The breakfast provisions plentiful. We ordered a bbq platter and it was also plentiful and so much variety. 100% reccomend staying here and will definately be back!

We stayed for 4 wonderful nights. Cottage was clean, modern and comfortable. Very private and peaceful. Open fire had tons of wood. Smart tv with Netflix a plus for nights in. Short drive to Marysville and Lake Mountain.

My partner and I have come up here the past few years in April and had excellent weekends away at Chestnut Glade! Its a beautiful secluded property that really allows you to relax and enjoy a simpler lifestyle. We take advantage of the large bath spa, open fire place, and love the breakfast provisions that are provided for the weekend. If you feel like getting out and about places likes Marysville and Healesville are only short drives away. We will be back for years to come!
