What a great find this cottage was! Spacious, clean and comfortable. A perfect stop for us and our furbaby while traveling from Queensland to Melbourne.

The photos were a bit deceptive on Airbnb. There are 2 cottages and both seem pretty small. Make sure to ask which one you’ve booked. The place is largely wild bushes and trees with a few garden patches and fruiting trees. Nice to talk a walk inside the 1acre premises which is fenced. The amenities of the cottage are average and okay for a 1- nigjt stay.

Graham and Lorna are extremely welcoming. We where travelling with horses, chickens, dogs and guinea pigs and they where able to accommodate us. The cottage and grounds are amazing, close to town, close to the zoo and great highway access. Even the little things as having some breakfast supplies, coffee, milk and bread means a lot when you are on the road. When we come to the zoo here we will make sure we book here as it’s amazing.

What a magical delightful, place to stay. Everything we and our travelling doggies could wish for: modern well-equipped unit and the best paddock for our dog to have a free run in…. wonderful hosts, we loved it.

Lovely stay in the cottage. Loved that my dog could stay. Immaculately clean and Lorna was very kind. Air con was on when we arrived which was much appreciated. A lot of care and pride has gone into the place to make it as comfortable as possible for guests. Highly recommend abs will definitely stay again

Loved our overnight stay here – great amount of space for our 5 yo to run around outside and ride the bikes after our long drive. Well equiped kitchen, wonderful break, fresh fruit and comfortable beds.

Myself, my partner, our three children and even our doggo had a wonderful stopover at Gortaderra Cottage. It was clean and spacious with plenty of room for the kids to play and run around outside, it even has a cubby house. After a long drive it was so nice to walk into such a peaceful little cottage that even had breakfast provisions and real milk!!
The owners Lorna and Graham are wonderful and even helped dry all the washing in their dryer that our kids had created over our long drive.
Would definitely recommend staying here, we didn’t want to leave.

Very nice and calm place to spend the night. lovely and friendly owner. Lorna the owner is very friendly and helpful. We had heaps of food provided for us just out her kindness. Even offered to offer us more in case if we needed. Really recommend this place. If you ever wanted to find a place around Dubbo make sure to check this place out.

Stayed overnight with our two dogs. Owners were lovely and the unit was nice, clean, well equipped and came well stocked with supplies for breaky the next morning. Property is very nice with plenty of areas for the dogs to run around. Recommended 🙂

We stayed here overnight on our way through with our two small dogs. The owner is lovely and they supplied excellent breakfast provisions. The room is very nicely furnished and clean (you would never guess that the dogs were allowed inside). They had an outdoor pen if we wanted to leave the dogs for the day and go into town. It was an exceptionally convenient and enjoyable short stay. I would definitely recommend it.
